Dance: Addresses Health
7 Issues and Concern

As you listen to our lessons for today, you will understand some of the
health issues and concern related to dance. We all know that dance is
considered as the oldest form of exercise. In the last module, you learned
about the proper etiquette and safety in the used of facilities and equipment.

Introductory Message
A module is a type of learning resource that is essentially self-
contained, self- instructional package with learning paced by the student
according to his or her individual needs and ability (Ali, et.al,2010). It
requires the learners to interact actively with the instructional materials
rather than simply allowing them to read the materials passively (Dick and
Carrey, 1990).

For the facilitator:

This module adheres to the learning competencies of the K-12

Curriculum. This module helps the learners understand how dance address
health issues and concerns. This module is a useful learning material that
provides the learning objectives, pretest, lesson proper, enrichment
activities, generalization, application, assessment and additional activities.

For the learner:

This module is created to give meaningful learning of the dance

through clear and comprehensive discussions. Through the lesson, you will
learn the how dance addresses health issues and concerns, identify the
holistic benefits of the dance and how to make a fitness program plan.
