❑ Apply various academic referencing styles using Mendeley, Endnote, and Zotero.

❑ Utilize Statistical Analysis tools in their research (MS Excel and SPSS).

❑ Identify and use different types of data analysis techniques.

❑ Compute the measurement of central tendency.

❑ Compute Normal Distribution, T-Test, Chi-Square Test, and ANOVA

To install Mendeley on your


system, follow the steps on
next slides.

Go to https://www.mendeley.com/ -> Click on Create account

I got the below page because I already have an account on Elsevier platform. In your case, you may need to
enter your details in order to sign up. Click Accept and continue

Enter your password -> Click Confirm Account
Step 4
The accounts have been linked. Click Continue to Mendeley

You should have a page like the one shown below. Click Download Mendeley Reference Manager

Click Download now for Windows

Your download should begin as shown below. Click Install

Once the downloading is completed -> Click

Enter your email ID -> Click Continue Enter your password -> Click Sign in

You should be able to see the Mendeley Reference Manager Interface

Next is to connect with MS Word.


To do this, follow the steps on

Click Tools -> Click Install Mendeley Cite for Microsoft Word

Click Get it now

Enter your Microsoft email ID ->
Click Sign in.
If you don’t have, signup for one.

Enter the same email ID -> Click


Next -> Enter your password

Click Get it now
Accept -> Click Continue

Click Open in Word

NB: If you face some challenges connecting to the above page, switch to another browser

Click on I trust the plugin -> References tab -> you will see that Mendeley has been
added to your MS Word as shown below.

When you click Mendeley Cite, you should see the panel shown below.
