[Software License Agreement]

Prior to the use of "Firmware update software and/or Printer software" (hereinafter “this software”), read the
software license agreement below.
At using the software to which this agreement applies, you (hereinafter referred to as “the customer”) shall
agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the agreement and the agreement comes into effect between
MIMAKI ENGINEERING CO., LTD. (hereinafter “MIMAKI”) and the customer.
If you do not agree to the terms of the agreement, you must not execute it and immediately delete this
software and all copies thereof in the temporary memory or the hardware of your computer.

1. Definitions
1. “Software license” means MIMAKI hereby grants to the customer, a non-exclusive license in accordance
with the terms and conditions of the agreement to use.
2. “Software” means the computer programs that are provided along with the agreement.
3. “Related documents” means printed documentation on which the text data is provided with the software
and/or printed documents MIMAKI may provide afterward.
4. “This software” means the software and/or related documents, and copies thereof provided to the
customer by MIMAKI.

2. Restrictions
1. The customer shall not make copies of this software in violation of clauses of the agreement.
2. The customer shall not change, reverse-engineer and/or disassemble this software.
The customer shall not transfer, rent, or grant re-use to third parties.
No position as a part of the agreement can be transferred.

3. Warranty Restrictions
1. There is no guarantee that functions that are included in this software satisfy the customer’s purpose of
use.
2. The customer shall be responsible for the selection and the installation of this software. The use of this
software and its results shall not be guaranteed.
3. MIMAKI shall not be liable to any required services, repairs, costs for repairs and damages to the
customer in the result of operating this software.

4. Term of the Agreement


1. The agreement comes into effect at the time of using the software to which the agreement applies.
2. The agreement may automatically be terminated at the time your company determines to terminate use of
this software.
3. If the customer breaches terms and conditions of the agreement, MIMAKI will immediately terminate the
agreement without notice.
4. Upon terminating the agreement, the customer shall immediately destroy this software and all copies
thereof at the customer’s expense.
