Instructions for the speaking test on CLMS

1. Go to the speaking test.

2. Start by clicking on “play sound” to make sure you listen correctly to what is said.
3. Repeat the words highlighted to make sure your mic is working

4. You can turn the volume up and down if needed

5. After you record your message, it will playback to you. If everything is ok, click on the
arrow to continue.

 6. Read the instructions carefully. To record, you have to click on the red button
when you finish, click on the stop button . Finally click on play to listen to your
answer

For example, in the word sorry, click on the headphone first to listen to the word. Then, record
yourself saying the word in the red button. Next, click on the stop button when you have finished
saying the word and finally click on play to listen to what you said. After you do all that, the
arrow will activate to continue.

7. In the second part, where you have to identify the stressed syllable, click on the
headphone first to listen to the word. Then, click on the circle where you think the stress
goes (the circle will become bigger). After that, record yourself saying the word in the
red button. Next, click on the stop button when you have finished saying the word and
finally click on play to listen to what you said. After you do all that, the arrow will activate
to continue.

8. In part 3, you have to record yourself answering the question given. Follow the same
pattern (record button + stop button + play)
