Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship (ENT300) without difficulty or failure. His willingness
and guidance allow me to be healthy enough to study this topic in my finest condition. Even
though I had a difficult time to do this assignment. This is the greatest chance I have ever had
in my life, and I am very grateful that I am in this position.

I want to convey my sincere appreciation to my lecturer, Madam Dr Asma’ Rashidah


binti Idris, for her continuous encouragement throughout the lecture with patience,

research and preparation of this paper. I could never have come up with a better adviser for
my Entrepreneurship class. We are finding it difficult to complete the lesson class these days,
but our madam is doing her best to fully offer her information.

My completion of this project could not have been accomplished without the support of

1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Business opportunity is actually about on how we want to relate it with the business and
also how we need to apply it into the business plan, in order to be successful
entrepreneur. In addition, it will teach us how to develop an efficient or strategic plan to
notice any difficulties that may arise in this business. We will be able to identify any path
of production from the start of the business to its conclusion.

In order to complete my assignment, I did a case study of the business opportunity,


which is what this report is about. I decided to market 3D visualization lights as my
product as a result. I chose this product since it was created using 3D visualization,
which is currently preferred by most consumers over flat visualization because it makes
objects appear more appealing and authentic. Since every product created nowadays uses
high-quality materials thanks to advancements in technology, my choice uses one that
will endure a long time. The fact that this product suits customers' tastes and is
reasonably priced further contributes to its great demand.

This business opportunity is being offered to me as a student in order to give me the


chance to learn how to run a successful business and get experience as an entrepreneur.
A project description is something else I want to be aware of before I enter the corporate
world. I must, for instance, list every aspect of my business. Additionally, I wish to
assess the project results I encountered after managing business activities according to a
strategy I came up with. I have to explain, for instance, whether I get profits or
losses after selling my product.

3.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The phrase "project description" refers to a section of a business plan that compiles all the
specifics of the business. Before I start my business, I make a list of all the project
descriptions I've previously looked up on Google, spoken with friends who have been in
the business for longer time and experience than I have, and conducted some research
using articles from newspapers and magazines. The project description for my project
includes the product I want to sell, the reasons I picked it, the target market for the
product, the length of my business activity whether offline or online used to sell the
product, the marketing techniques I'll employ, and the product's pricing.

The item I have chosen to sell for my business is a 3D visualization light since it is a
product that virtually everybody can possess. When the lamp is turned on, a powerful
LED is used as the source of illumination. For instance, just some areas of the light are
bright, rather than entire spaces like the living room. The device also uses green energy,
which can assist to lower carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. For instance, if
the lamp is turned on in the bedroom, the space won't be too hot. Additionally, this
product is quality assured. When customers buy a product, assurance of the product is
crucial since it can be trusted. For instance, if the bulb causes individuals to have negative
consequences, they can sue the suppliers and receive a refund.

Furthermore, I am interested in 3D visualization, particularly when it comes to lamps,


which is another reason I chose this product. Since I was a youngster, I've been gathering
knowledge about 3D visualization lamps and dreaming of starting a 3D visualization
company. Now, my dream has finally come true, even if it's only to do my project.
Nevertheless, I truly like it. For instance, I may provide my personal opinion regarding a
3D visualization lamp before going into further detail and gaining the client's trust to sell
the product. Additionally, I believe that the product's distinctive lighting effect and 3D
visual impact will draw customers in as they explore the product's design. A lamp's
brightness, for instance, clearly shows off its design. Additionally, this product includes a
variety of light styles, so I think buyers won't get bored and can pick the one they want.
The Eiffel Tower, a bear, a piano, a love, a camera, and a guitar are just a few examples
of the designs available.

Next, group of customers I was looking for were people of all ages, including children,
students, adults, and seniors. This product has no limitations, unlike many others that
have usage limitations since they were created for a certain target market. People who
wish to purchase this product don't need to be worried because it is suitable for everyone.
Since the product is small enough for them to grip and has an interesting appearance, I
think children will appreciate it. This is especially true when the design features animals.
Adults will like this product since they may place the light in their house or office. While
this is going on, older folks may utilize this lamp to replace the main light source in their
home, which will help cut down on their electricity costs.

Business will be handled from 20 October 2022 until 20 November 2022, a period of one
month. Even if the time frame is short, I will accept this challenge in order to develop my
abilities to manage the company intelligently. Furthermore, I don't think I can finish the
task in the time allotted, especially given how badly the virus covid19 and influenza are
currently affecting our nation. Since the company must close, many people lose their jobs,
but I have previously planned my strategy to sell the goods as much as I can to complete
my assignment. For instance, I want to gather additional information about the things I
want to offer within the first week the business is running. I start selling my products to
customers the second week and keep records of my business activities until the fourth
week.

Both offline and online businesses are the sorts of businesses I utilize. For offline
business, I only accept orders from nearby people like my friends who live close to my
rental home. In addition, I also do the delivery to the customers house with in 15km from
my rent house area. I utilize Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram as my selling platforms
for online business. I will post all of the information regarding the 3D visualization light
on social media because it is so accessible to everyone. For instance, I included the price
for each design. Normally, I accept orders from customers who stay outside of the state,
including those in Selangor, Terengganu, and Kedah. These customers will get their
products by postal service, either using J&T or Ninja Van.

Finally, I sell my items at reasonable prices so that everyone may purchase them without
feeling guilty. The cost of each design is Rm15 even though I really pay the manufacturer

Rm10 for each design. However, I choose to sell the goods for the higher price so that I
may make a greater profit than I do losses. To simultaneously reduce the price of the
product's packaging and cost of transportation.

Since there are many challenges that entrepreneurs must overcome, it is important that we
are both physically and mentally strong before we enter the business world. The
experiential learning, I obtain while running the company teaches me how to be patient,
how to speak with confidence, how to manage my time properly, how to advance my
business knowledge, and how to be prepared to take a risk.

Sometimes I often lose control of my emotions when I'm under stress, I'm not really a
patient person in real life. But operating the business has taught me more about patience
because I have to stay patient while dealing with different customer attitudes. Every
customer, for instance, has a different taste for the design they want to purchase. As a
result, they occasionally find it difficult to decide what they want and complain about the
things I offer. As a result, I take a deep breath and accept the complaint to be my
motivation to improve my business. In order to make it clear and simple for them to pick,
I will also assist them in selecting the design they like by describing every design I sell.

Additionally, I gain confidence in my ability to promote my product to others. Especially


when the client asks me several questions until I get curious in what I have explained. For
instance, as I am the product's seller and must gain their trust, I must explain every detail
regarding 3D visualization lights to buyers. To do this, I must develop my confidence and
overcome any feelings of shyness. I practice speak in front of a mirror before I run my
business to help me overcome this issue by lowering my anxiety when I meet customers
and developing a strong sense of character in myself.

Furthermore, even though I am familiar with the fundamentals and believe I am prepared
to start my business, I still need to improve my business knowledge. This is due to the
fact that, as a person, I will inevitably make mistakes even in small situations. I'll never
be able to make it in the business world without information. For example, unless I keep
blaming the buyer because they respond rudely to my product, I will always believe I am
doing professionally without considering what the customer wants from the product. I
will never again pay attention to what the customer wants because of it. I've decided that

the best course of action is for me to identify and record client preferences prior to
marketing my goods. I shall also make every effort to teach myself to listen to other
people's opinions.

Finally, when it comes to the business area, I must have the courage to take a risk. I've
always assumed that running a business will result in a profit, but I forget that there will
also be losses. For instance, the consumer may decide they do not want to pay for the
item once it has been delivered to their home. Additionally, they may claim that they are
strapped for cash and ask for more time to pay, but sometimes they do not, and as a result,
I suffer a loss from dishonest clients. In order to prevent any issues, I only accept orders
from my customers who have already finished paying me.

6.0 CONCLUSION
In a word, this business opportunity taught me to always see the good side of life's
situations. In addition, I will learn a lesson from my experience that will make a great
person. Either a negative or positive outcome results from the activity. Additionally,
managing the company has taught me new skills including writing project descriptions,
assessing project results, and operating a business on my own. Because humans must
learn about life, even the little things, so that we never make mistakes, I will implement
the knowledge I gain in my daily activities.

According to me, the advantage that my business has is that I like working with my
customers. Since I already want my classmates to buy my goods, they make up the
majority of my customers. Fortunately, I achieved my goal, which helped my business
become stronger every day. Furthermore, I believe that a strong marketing plan helps a
business run more efficiently. This is because, prior to beginning my own business, I did
research on the organized processes that big businesses use when they wish to start a new
business. I used this strategy to grow my business as a result. Last but not least, having
high passion in business I think it can be a strength to my business because even though
my schedule is packed with study, my passion to learn new things makes me want to
know deeply without feeling like giving up.

However, the fact that several businesses compete with me for the same customers is a
problem for my company. I must thus increase my effort to compete with them as a
strong competitor and plan my strategy carefully to avoid forgetting any crucial details.
Last but not least, one of my business's weaknesses is the serving courier's technological
issues. As a result, occasionally product deliveries are delayed and cannot be delivered to
customers on time. I need to let the client know about this issue as soon as possible so
that they are aware of what happened.
