The “Oshbor Shwaya”


- Involves cupping the fingers together and slowly swinging the
hand up and down
- When a person does this gesture towards you, know that
patience is required of you.
- The meaning of this hand signal roughly translates to, “take a
chill pill”.

The “Maleesh Da3wa”


- This gesture involves raising one hand up to indicate that you
have no business with whatever situation that is at hand.
- Very often means, “This is none of your business.”.

The “Oxom Bellah”


- Involves connecting the index finger and thumb while raising
the middle, index, and pinky
- The “First Warning!” gesture used to mean “I swear to God”
and best beware! Be very careful when it’s expressed to you.
The “Fee Eh?”
- Involves raising both hands in front with the palms
facing upward and the fingers projecting outwards.
- Means, “What’s going on?” or, “What’s happening?”
and is usually conveyed with confusion.

The “Magnoon enta wall eh?”


- Usually expressed by twisting the hand near the head area.
- Roughly means “Are you crazy?”
- It is conveyed as a serious gesture.
