 Sections of the Exam
1. Use of English (Grammar and Vocabulary) – 70 minutes / 40 points
Question types you may see in this part were shared before.

2. Listening – around 20 minutes / 15 points

Question types – TRUE/FALSE , Multiple Choice, Gap Filling (The same format as the 2 nd quiz)

3. Writing – 15 points
A level students are going to write a guided paragraph. (A paragraph based on the questions
given) - 45 minutes
B level students are going to write an organised paragraph. – 45 minutes
C level students are going to write a 250-300-word informative essay. – 60 minutes

4. Reading - 15 points / 45 minutes

Three texts – Multiple choice & Matching

5. Speaking – 15 points / about 3-5 minutes per student

The format of the exam is quite similar to the speaking materials used in classes.
** C level speaking exam does not have a “picture description” part. A and B level speaking
exams have a “picture description” part.

Bonus Questions will be given at the end of the UOE exam. – 2 questions / 4 points

- Read the instructions carefully during the exams!

- Be careful about spelling! In most parts, incorrect spelling will make you
- lose points!
- Make sure your writing is legible, otherwise you will get no points for your
answer.
