Today, I finally summoned the courage to overcome the mind riddling and sad event that

occurred Thursday, the 14 of July, 2022 at the Federal Medical Center, Apir, Benue State. The
demise of one of my beloved mother (Prof. Eunice Okoroafor).
Unquestionably, death is unavoidable! as every living soul has its death coupon already issued
depending on when, where and how. But it is most certain that we will all embark on that divine
eternal journey someday. In spite of this, we still grieve when we lose our beloved ones,
particularly one has so much impact on your life and existence.

Tears drifts down my face as I’m writing this piece with my heart sizzling from the innermost,
telling me that, from now on, I will spend the rest of my life here on earth without my loving,
caring, and encouraging mother (Prof. Eunice Okoroafor) which is really an irreparable loss
that has created a vacuum unfillable.

This mother of mine (Mummy Eunice Okoroafor) was an inspiring soul, always there for all
who came to her with their troubles, offering them all forms of support systems, kind words
and wise advices. Her home was open to every one and her hospitality made them feel
important. You were the most Loving, Humble, Compassionate, Understanding, Family
orientated woman and one of the most beautiful souls one could ever meet. I miss and love you
so much Mum and I fervently pray that, all you have prayed and wished for me during your
life time continue to follow me until my last breath.
DEAR LORD JESUS, I know she’s in your bosom right now, and if roses grow in heaven,
please pick a bunch for me at intervals, place them in my mother’s arms and tell her they’re
from me. Tell her I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile (of-course I know she will),
please place a kiss upon her cheek, hug her for a while, whisper to her telling her all of those
are from me, and that I will forever love and miss her. – Emmanuel Ochigbo
There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart
