‘ STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE HOMEWORK’

REASONS:

1. Homework encourages the practice

2. Homework teaches time management
3. Homework opens a bridge of communication

As far as I am concerned, students should do homework because it has three major possitive effects on
them. To initiate, homework encourages the discipline of practice.Assignments may be time consuming and
boring for students when we compare to other activities. However, one needs repetition to get better at
certain skills.Furthermore, homework helps make concepts more clear, and gives students more
opportunities to complete the learning process. Another crucial reason to support my idea is that
homework can develop time management skills since homework is much more than just completing the
assigned tasks. It forces students to plan their time and to make sure that they finish their assignments on
time. For instance, by learning to manage their time, they can raise the level of both their attention and
concentration.In addition, students also practice their problem-solving skills and independent thinking. To
finalize, homework creates a connection between the student, school and the teacher so it establishes a
bridge of communication. To give an example, when you put an effort to do your homework, you want to
share it with your friends and you want to ask and answer the questions during the class hours. Therefore,
it allows everyone to get to know each other better. To cut a long story short, I firmly believe that students
should benefit from doing homework in different ways as I have mentioned above.
