The objective of supply chain management is to actively oversee all aspects of the supply chain

in order to optimize customer value and create a long-lasting competitive advantage. It shows a

deliberate effort on the part of supply chain management companies to create and manage supply

networks as effectively and efficiently as they can. Product creation, sourcing, production,

logistics, as well as the information systems required to coordinate these operations, are all

covered by supply chain activities.


2. What is the importance of supply chain management in a company?

Answer:

success rates. These processes involve managing the movement of materials and products within

corporation must supply finished goods and services that consumers need.

Return – It is a post-delivery customer assistance procedure connected to all different types of

recycled goods. Minimizing possible customer relationship degradation is among the most

crucial aspects of supply chain management.

The overall goal of supply chain management are Improving Efficiency, Improving Quality, and

Improving Stability.

Improving Efficiency - Through making mindful habits, mastering time management skills, and

generating motivating objectives. to have a better understanding of how to succeed

professionally and increase job productivity.

Improving Quality – Quality improvement refers to everyone in a firm working together and

continuously to improve every aspect of it, notably its manufacturing process. It is a methodical

strategy to reducing or eliminating waste, losses, and rework in the production process.

Improving Stability – Is about preserving and enhancing the supply's overall stability chain.

Aiming to establish and sustain solid connections with their suppliers and distributors to ensure

the seamless operation of the business.


5. Briefly explain the six components of supply chain management.

Answer:

Planning – Businesses must organize and control the resources necessary to fulfill their goals.
