PROPOSED MEETING OF CLUBS INITIATED BY LEGENDS CRICKET CLUB

Eastern Province Cricket NPC (“EP Cricket”) is aware of the initiative by Legends Cricket Club to involve
other clubs in a so-called “dispute” raised after the 2020 AGM.

As the responsible governing entity in respect of amateur cricket affairs our attorneys were requested
to review and provide advices to the Board regarding the “dispute”.

Such advices were received and conveyed to Legends Cricket Club as per the attached
correspondence.

EP Cricket is concerned that member Clubs are being misled or ill informed as to the “dispute”.

Clubs are cautioned against participating in activities outside of the prescripts of the Memorandum of
Incorporation of EP Cricket as well as other applicable legislation.

The Legal & Governance Committee further reviewed the matter at its meeting on 8 December 2022
and confirmed the closure of the 2020 “dispute” raised by Legends Cricket Club.
