India of my dream

My India is the best country in the world. I love my country more than my life itself.

When we look at the immense natural resources available at our disposal, I feel that my country
must be the number one in the world in every respect – whether it is in the field of agriculture,
technology or defense. India has many firsts and historic achievements, like the invention of Zero,
astrology and space science, universities, the Vedas, Yogasans, surgery etc. to her credit. No other
country in the world can even come near them.

India has marked her indelible imprint in the world in space science and technology by launching her
Mangalyaan, the Mars Orbiter and has been successful in the very first attempt by the ISRO (Indian
Space Research Organization) without any foreign assistance and help of any kind.
We are totally independent in defense and are capable of defending ourselves from any foreign
aggression of any kind – whether on land, in water or in air.
Presently India is marching forward rapidly in every field. But with this vast population, it is not easy
to reach the benefits to every individual. The most important effort must be to reach the poorest of
the poor and make their lives worthy.

We must always strive to do better and be happy with our achievements but never be satisfied.
Because there is always room for something more in every field. India with such vast population
have many problems and need attention to solve many of them on priority.

I have a great dream for my India and my country must lead the world. The first and foremost thing
that I visualize is that my India is free of poverty and starvation. Presently of the 130 crores
population, about 5% live in extreme poverty. India ranks 49 th in world in poverty in the world.
In India of my dream, every person will have their basic needs like food, cloth and shelter, fulfilled.
Every family will have proper meals, clothes and shelter.
The second greatest need is education for all and total removal of illiteracy. This can be achieved
only if every child gets the best of education free of charge right from the pre-primary level to the
highest education any university can offer. India has one third of world’s illiterates. This is a matter
of great concern.

Only through education we can achieve any goal.

Education of girl is a must. My India will have free education for all and compulsory education for
girls.
My India must be free of unemployment problem. We must have jobs for every youth. To meet this
end, we will have to make progress in modern and most advanced industries and agriculture through
technology. There is no lack of talent but we must utilize them fruitfully to the benefit of this nation.
India of my dream will be totally free from any disease. All medical assistance will be available free
of charge to every one. We have world’s best facilities and talent available here. We will make our
country healthy.

In my dream India, our farmers will be given greatest of opportunities and incentives. In my India, all
the necessary steps will be taken at any cost to provide every facility to farmers -- Water supply,
Fertilizers, Crop Insurance, Transport and Market for their products. They will get proper returns on
their products. They will get all protection against crop failures due to any calamity like flood,
drought unseasonal rains or snow fall. We will lead the world in agricultural products like grain,
vegetable, fruit. Farmers will be able to take multi crops in a year. In India of my dream, farmers will
never have to resort to suicide for any reason whatsoever. We will have the best protection system
for farmers and their families. They must live with dignity.

India of my dream will be self sufficient in all mining products and crude oils and natural gases.
We will never have to depend upon any foreign country for our needs of these items.
We are one of the richest country in the world in natural resources.

The worst problem that my country facing today is corruption at almost every level. There are anti-
corruption bureau but they have their limitations because of the large population. Corruption is
deep rooted and the main reason is lack of education and empathy. Proper education and love for all
creatures can have impact on corruption.

India of my dream will be self-reliant in defense. We will manufacture best fighter planes and
missiles and all other defense equipment. My country will have the most advanced defense system
in the world and we will be capable of fighting back any super power in the world. However, we will
make advance in this field only for defense purpose, as it is India’s policy never to invade or attack
other countries first.
When my country is strong, we will get respect from other countries. No body likes any weakling. My
country will be the strongest in the world in defense.

My India will have the best connectivity on land, water & even underwater and in air. We will have
the fastest transport system for passengers and goods. Progress is possible only through fast and
safe transport system. My country will have the fastest communication systems in the world.

Our engineers will perform miracles in infrastructures. We will have the largest of industries, roads,
buildings, bridges, airports, space craft, and satellite.

My India will be free of drought and floods. We will have the best meteorological system to forecast
any disaster and its control measures to reduce damage to property and loss of lives. We will have
the most advanced system to warn us of the impending disasters like tsunami, heavy rain, drought,
extreme heat or cold or snow. We will join our rivers to supply water to barren lands and thereby
achieve 2 goals – to control flooding of rivers and providing irrigation facilities to dry land.

My India will have the best natural environment free of all toxic polluting substances, plastics,
chemicals etc. We will have expand forestation every where round the year. We will completely rid
our country of polluting agents from air, air surface, seas and oceans. Our country will be free of all
pollutants. We will find all alternatives to the items which pollute our country and our earth.

This is India of my dream. Every citizen gets every basic needs positively. No one has to starve and
sleep without food or shelter. This is inevitable.
India will surely become once again the ‘Sone Ki Chidiya’ of the past glory.
