1. EQUIPMENT – TECHNICAL DATA

The FOX Hydraulic equipment series is an excellent option in rock drilling machines, which can be
suitable for Quarrying, Open Cast Mining, Drilling Contractors and others. This equipment presents
high productivity with low operation costs.

1.1. The FOX 12-30 equipment, developed and produced by WOLF, it is fully hydraulic driven and
requiring just one operator.

1.2. The equipment allows a drilling diameter range between 2.1/2” up to 4” (64 up to 102 mm) using
Top Hammer System model W 19.

1.3. Self-Propelled, the FOX 12-30 contains a Cummins engine, water-cooled.

1.4. The FOX 12-30 equipment has an ergonomic cabin with air conditioning, where all manifolds
and controls are placed, offering an easy, efficient and safe operation to the driller regarding
locomotion and drilling operations, with an excellent view angle since the drilling positioning.

1.1. Compressor Unit screw type - 250 CFM @ 105 PSI, required for flushing air to the hole.

1.2. Main frame built in structural steel applied to heavy duty application, with two compensation
cylinders for rough terrains, reaching an oscillation of about 16 degrees in the front and 9
degrees in the back.

1.3. Traction System hydraulically activated through planetary reduction gears.

1.4. Undercarriage composed of track shoes in special steel. Links, pins and bushings from Track
Chain thermally treated.

1.5. “Forged” Track Rollers and oil lubricated (not demanded in maintenance action).

1.6. Track Chain Tensioner through Grease Pump and Retaining Valve.

1.7. The FOX equipment series has two independent hour meters, one to control the diesel engine
and hydraulic system, and other to control / maintenance of hydraulic drifter (percussion).

1.8. Hydraulic System composed of 2 Hydraulic Piston Pumps, with load sensing devices coupled
to the diesel engine.

1.9. Spotlights for nightly work.

1.10. Extension boom increasing the drilling coverage up to 5’ (1.4 meter), reducing the unnecessary
displacement of equipment.

1.11. Digital inclinometer for a correct feed angulation when drilling (X and Y angles).

1.12. Audible reverse horn, indicating the movement of the equipment.

1.13. Dust Collector Slide Hood, getting easy the drilling positioning and permitting the complete
sealing, increasing the suction efficiency.

date or 1.000 working hours of diesel hours or what occurs first.
