A) IKS Based fundamental science project

Project Title Computational and mathematical modelling of mental states in Indian Psychology
and Consciousness Studies

Eligibility • Ph.D/M.Tech/M.Sc in Basic Sciences, Mathematics and Engineering

• B. Tech/Int. M.Sc with outstanding academic records can be considered

Desirable Proficiencies:

• Expertise in programming (Python, Javascript/NodeJS, C++)

• Working knowledge of machine learning
• Familiarity with computational geometry or algebraic geometry or cognitive
psychology is a positive addon
• Ability to work with little guidance from a mentor
• Good communication and writing skills

Upper Age Limit 40 (at the time of application)

Duration 12 months – 24 months
Salary ₹ 31,000 – ₹ 50,000 + HRA (full time)
₹ 10,000 – ₹ 25,000 (part-time/ work from home)
Working Hours Full Time: 8-10 hours (as per specific project)

Project Title Scholarly reflections on Gaudiya Vaishnavism

Eligibility • Ph.D/M.Tech/M.Sc/M.A./B.Tech/B.Sc with outstanding academic records

Desirable Proficiencies:

• Practitioner of Gaudiya Vaishnavism with expertise in Indian philosophy

• Good knowledge of Sanskrit is a much-needed addon
• Must have a good grasp of the philosophy of Bhagavad Gita and Srimad
Bhagavatam
• Ability to work with little guidance from a mentor
• Good communication and writing skills

Terms and conditions:

• The interview will be held online via ZOOM.
• The date and time of the interview along with the meeting link will be shared by email to the shortlisted
candidates.
• The selected candidates are required to join the position immediately. A minimum of one year of
engagement is mandatory. A project cannot be terminated in between.
• HRA will be awarded as per the norms of ISS Delhi.
• Merely fulfilling the eligibility requirement does not guarantee shortlisting for an interview.
• The decision of the selection committee regarding the interview logistics and selection process for the
aforementioned post will be final.
