Occupying much of the western extremity of bali,
the Bali Barat national Park is one of Indonesia best bird
watching areas.
The park rarest bird is the gorgeous Bali starling,
with its brilliant silver-white feathers and striking layer
eye markings. The starling now clings to the threads of
existence in the wild. In 1989, about 30 individuals were
tallied in the park, compared to over 700 in captivity
across the globe.
Despite the starlings rarity, the Bali Barat National
Park is rich in over 160 other species. Yellow-vented
Bulbuls are everywhere, as well as White-bellied
Swiftlets, Sacred and Javan kingfishers and Drongos. On
the north coast is a colony of Silvered Leaf Monkeys, and
Menjangan Island or Dear Island, offers a rich variety of
marine life for snorkelers and divers. Dolphin watching is
also a highlight of Bali.
There are a number of good guided treks through
Bali Barats jungles. However, no trekking is permitted on
the Prapat Paninsula and menjangan Island due to the
starlings fragile existence.

replied Lisa.
Every time they walked, Lisa Said that the
woman walking behind her was her maid. She never
admitted that the woman was her mother.
Her mother was really disappointed with Lisa.
She couldn’t bear it. Lisa’s sentences had hurt her.
The poor mother finally prayed to God, “Oh, God. I
can’t stand this. My daughter always humiliates me. I
am so disappointed with her. Please give her
punishment.” With the power of God, suddenly
Lisa’s body turned into a stone. Lisa cried and asked

The blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) is the largest

location, and to frequent colder locations, like the poles, in
spring and summer. They usually travel in very small groups,
often travelling alone, and can swim very quickly, sometimes
reaching speeds of up to 48 km per hour.
The diet of blue whales consists mostly of plankton and
krill, which are small invertebrates that resemble shrimp. The
blue whales can eat over 4 tons of these tiny creatures per day
during their summer feeding season.

Indonesian Cow’s Foot Curry
Ingredients :
1 cow foot
4 cups coconut milk
1 turmeric leaf
2 seeds of sour mangosteen (asam kandis)
2 kaffir lime leaves
1 stalk lemongrass

2 cm turmeric
5 pcs candlenuts

Steps :
1. Clean the cow’s foot from its hair, cut into several pieces
and cook until tender.

according to you preference
3. Cook the coconut milk together with the blended speces,
kaffir lime leaves, sour mangosteen and the lemongrass
4. Add trhe meat pieces and cook until the coconut milk

milk from dissolving
