1. What will happen to us if our life gets too busy according to the poem 'Leisure’ ?
According to the poem 'Leisure’ , if our life gets too busy then we will not have time to
relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.

2. Who enjoys nature more than humans ? Why?

According to the poet , sheep and cows enjoy the nature more than humans because
humans are so busy that they fail to enjoy the beauty of the nature that surrounds
them .

3. What do we fail to notice when we pass through the woods?


When we pass through the woods we fail to notice the trees around it and the
activities of the animals like squirrels searching for their favourite food and on finding
it they carefully hide them in the grass.

4. What does the poet mean by ' stream full of stars' ?


The stream is being compared to starry night sky, because when the rays of the sun
fall upon the clear water, the water reflects those sun beams which shine in the
stream like stars in the night sky. Therefore the poet by ' stream full of stars ' means
streams radiated by the sun rays.

5. Whose ' dance ' is the poet referring in the fifth stanza of the poem ' Leisure ' ?
The poet in the fifth stanza of the poem 'Leisure’ is referring to the movement of the
trees and plants with the dance of humans.

6. What kind of life is 'poor life ' according to the poem?


According to the poem , a life full of worries, tension and no time to relax and enjoy
the nature is a 'poor life '.

The message we get from the poem ' Leisure ' is to spend some time with nature and
