TEST 3
Should there really be a standard for what is right or
everything is just circumstantial (depending on the situation)?
Explain your answer.
The circumstance was as follows: an elderly guy died in the room, and some
evidence was discovered, including a bottle of medicine. One of his children and a
maid were the witnesses.
The son claimed that they spoke with his father, but that he left abruptly, and that
they had a minor misunderstanding. The maid claimed that she had just finished
cleaning the old man's room, and that she saw John enter the room before she left.

They should be a standard for what is right or direct evidence in this

situation. There is a misunderstanding between the two, and john may be the one
who did it.However, the maid was the first to enter, and she gave the medicine to
the old man, indicating that she was the one who committed the crime. And, since
she instantly admitted his sin, she hasn't done or lied since, it's preferable to be
correct than to rely on circumstantial evidence.
