Volunteering can be rewarding as well as challenging. It is a great way to learn

new skills and gives a chance to discover what kinds of things you’re best and enjoy
the most. An individual who volunteers may see a rise in their confidence by helping
others to provide a feeling of achievement.
In the first video, Sir Louis is a voluntary teacher that he want to opened up a
Special Education to provide an equal opportunities for students. He volunteer in KSK
or Kasama Sama Ka event it is the annual international day for people with disability.
He also joined Gabayan a 10 day psycho-social rehabilitation camp in that camp is a
memorable to made him realize that the beauty of life despite of people's condition.
Children with special needs really needs a good heart, patience and time in teaching
them. Working with children with special needs will teach you very important lessons in
life. You will come to the realization that you don’t have to be a saint to succeed in
meeting the needs of others. You will acquire a better understanding of the problems
such children face in their development. Volunteerism will be hard for those who don't
have passion for it. Volunteerism should always start in our heart.
In the second video, Special education provides students with disabilities
specialized instruction designed to meet their unique learning needs, giving them the
opportunity to develop to their fullest potential to equip their students with skills needed
for livelihood opportunities. Sped learners are given the opportunity to help gain more
knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need for work. This will enable them to gain
respect and uphold their dignity, rights, and welfare in as much as they enjoy the same
equal rights as the others who are perceived to be normal in the standards of society.
You will also learn that some of the difficulties special children face have to do with the
way they are perceived and treated by society in general.
This program is crucial to the lives of children with disabilities in the specialist
home and daycare Love Volunteers support. Volunteers undertaking this project will
contribute their time and energy to taking care of children in real need. I believe that
educators have fullest strength to build a good relationship with their students to teach
and guide in a skillful ways, to promote respect, care, love and patience for every
individual that people have different unique to be respected, accepted and to have
equally treatment.
