Writing Learners draw the pattern at the easel. They copy the
pattern from the board.

Reading Learners look for pictures in the magazine or newspaper


relevant to the words and sounds completed.

Outdoor play Learners go on an easter egg hunt. The teacher hides easter eggs on the
ground. The learners look for the eggs. Once the learner finds the egg,
she/he will come and sit in a ring. This will ensure that all learners get an
easter egg.

Life skills ring Showing respect and tolerance for each other is discussed with the
learners.
