GSV7 communicator Installation instructions

Connecting GSV7 to DSC KEYBUS interface


1 Wiring the GSV7 to DSC control panel 4. Enable reporting to CMS receiver No. 1 by changing field’s Used value
to Used [4].
Compatible control panels: PC5xx, PC1404, PC15xx, PC16xx, PC18xx.

GSV7 5. Specify the IP address [5] and the port [6] of the CMS receiver.
6. In the Protocol field [7], select:

7. In the Account field [8], enter the number of the object (system).
8. Enable reporting to CMS receiver No.2 (if required) [9].
USB 9. Enable the Periodic test [10] option and specify the frequency for
mini B checking the connection of the GSV7 to the CMS.

10. In GPRS settings [11] fields enter the information that are needed to
DSC control panel connect to internet. For the proper setting of the APN, APN user name, and
APN password, please contact the support service of the operator.
2 Connecting to the computer

Connect GSV7 to computer with USB cable (mini B).

GSV7 11. Press button Send settings to GSV7 [12].

USB 12. Generate an event (arm/disarm, bypass zone) and contact the CMS
mini B about received event confirmation.

3 Software GSV7 Loader


Download and install the latest version of software GSV7 Loader from
manufacturer website: www.secolink.eu
GSV7 Loader v.1.00

4 Programming the CMS settings


1. Select operation mode KEYBUS compatible [1].

2. Press Start programming [2].
