Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

1.) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Grand introduction, again never before
heard The Beatles like that. I'm
excited of what's to come.
2.) With a Little Help From My Friends - it just shows how the band has grown up. I
appreciate that George sang it,
feels matured to me. It's in the moderate speed riff, which I rarely from them to
play.
3.) Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds - I love the synths and ooohh the pitched high
voice. I love the writing of it,
a Lennon and McCartney gem. It was well produced too.
4.) Getting Better - Another great writing... As of now, I am amazed by how vast
the band's instrumentations in this
album alone.
5.) Fixing a Hole - OK, I had a different feeling with this one. I guess I would
appreciate it in a few more listens.
6.) She's Leaving Home - Man, this hit home. This might be my favorite track yet.
The narrative and the melancholic
instrumentations compliment each other. How sad this one was yet, I like it!
7.) Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! - OH MY, THE DIVERSITY OF SOUNDS HERE! You
could actually feel that you're in
someone's act, a circus or something majestic. Solid one!
8.) Within You Without You - THIS IS REALLY AHEAD OF ITS TIME! They have used an
Indian style before in Revolver (Love
You To), but it's never been better than this one. JUST WOW, left me astounded!
9.) When I'm Sixty Four - You can tell that they're enjoying with this one, I TOO!
It's very playful but it acts nice
as Paul sings it. I couldn't emphasize more about the writing, very introspective!
10.) Lovely Rita - Oooohh the harmony... I didn't pay attention to the lyrics that
much but I enjoyed it, nonetheless.
11.) Good Morning Good Morning - Did you hear Ringo in the end? Fast paced ehh?
Love it.
12.) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) - WHAT A JAM!
13.) A Day in the Life - OF COURSE, MY ALL TIME THE BEATLES TRACK! Now, that I have
listened to it in the context of the
album, this song felt to me as fragmented and sometimes creepy. I'm intrigued why
have they included it in the end, not
to mention the outro. WHAT A WAY TO END THE ALBUM!
