MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR Review

1.) Magical Mystery Tour - it's very psychedelic; yeah, the Beatles really know how
to open an album. Great vibe.
2.) The Fool on the Hill - This is what I love from the band: they continue to
experiment. Although it's not as grand as
their previous album, it still manaages to captivate you with its melodic rhythms
and sometimes hypnotic tunes.
3.) Flying - is it the first time that I've heard a Beatles' instrumental track? If
it is, then wow. The track easily
captures hallucination with its ethereal sounds, but then comes the last moment of
the track where it felt hypnotic.
4.) Blue Jay Way - Oh my goodness I had goosebumps! This is way ahead of its time.
It's over the place and dissonant and
it is definitely thematic.
5.) Your Mother Should Know - May not be the song that I like off the album, but
still it has good mixing. It's catchy
too.
6.) I Am the Walrus - Distorted vocals ooohhh... WHAT IS THIS SONG? HAHAHAHAHA I'm
quite at shock. I love songs like
this. Man, how they experiment in this era of the band is astonishing. MY FAVORITE
SONG!
7.) Hello, Goodbye - Of course, this is a very big song. Repetitive but super duper
catchy. The lyrics may be
non-existent but just groove with it, you know.
8.) Strawberry Fields Forever - I've heard this one too. Very weird track. Lowkey
cryptic.
9.) Penny Lane - This is a big hit too. What wins for me is its vivid lyrics
description which compliments the
simplicity of the instrumental. Very welcoming for a place like Penny Lane.
10.) Baby, You're a Rich Man - Another catchy track, I feel like I've heard bits of
it before.
11.) All You Need is Love - Catchy after catchy tracks. What a way to end.
Remember, this is only a soundtrack album
for a film, and they still experimented all throughout the tracks. Not many artists
would resort to that.
