3. In case of any legal disputes arising out of this transaction,it is mutually accepted that the competent courts at Chennai alone will have exclusive
jurisdiction.
4. You are responsible for compliance to applicable legislation related to Environment,Health and Safety during transit to till the time material unloaded at
any CKPL Premises.
5. Appropriate packing of materials to avoid any spillage or damage during transit.(Use of good quality packing materials).
6. Please provide appropriate method of loading & unloading & MSDS to the transporters.
7. Please verify the vehicle/transportation unit before loading of any consignment.Below points of to checked.
I.Use only appropriate vehicle with necessary protection of the material.Vehicle use for transportation should comply with Motor Vehicle act 2020.
II.Use appropriate protective material inside/outside the carrier of the vehicle to avoid any damage/spillage of material.
III.Maintenance,sanitation details of the transporting unit/Containers to be verified.
IV.Use appropriate tracking facilities (GPS) for tracking during transit.

Terms & Conditions of Purchase Order
The following points needs to be adhered while making an invoice. In absence of any of these mandatory
requirements, the invoice/ material WILL NOT be accepted:
01.All invoices must bear our Purchase Order No. and the same delivery address needs to be mentioned as in
the Purchase Order header.
02.The criteria of Quality as defined in the Purchase Order must be followed, failing which, the bill/
material will not be accepted.
03.The materials/ machines must be dispatched with proper E-Way bill wherever applicable.
04.The original invoice and other related documents must be addressed to our Commercial Dept as per the
address mentioned in the Purchase Order header.
05.No payment shall be paid, if the Vendor does not deposit the GST amount timely and furnish the appropriate
return within due date.
06.In case advance payment has been made, Vendor will timely deposit GST and will file appropriate return
within time. In case of failure recovery will be made along with applicable tax, interest and penalty.

 3. TIME SCHEDULE

Since timeof compleuon is the essence of this contract all efforts should be made by you
to complete all the works within 16 (Sixteen) Weeks or as per the below schedule:

o Delivey Time: delivery shall be 8 - 10 weeks ftom the date of issue of Work Order
& advance.
o Installation time: Installation shall be 8 weeks from the date of receiving of mateial
at site.

'Ihe date of start of this cofltract shall be considered from the date of issue of this work
otdet and date of handing over of the completed installation shall be as per the above
agteed milestones which shall form part of the contract.

4. BASIS OF DESIGN

As per tender document and drawings and shop drawing duly approved by the
consultant.

5. PRICE

(r) This is an item rate contract and the price quoted shall be final within the scope of the
drawings, Specifications and B.O.Q. as mentioned in tender documents. These unir rates
shall remain Ftm and shall not be subject to any revision whatsoever during the currency
of this cofltract. The above agreed prices are FOR Site Pune.

(r) The overall item rates are inclusive of all taxes & duties, other levies, PF, ESI, license for
wotking at State of Mahatashffa, cartage, lead, lift, cost of material and labour, Insurance,
Packing, Forwarding, Transpottation, Loading, Unloading etc. and nothing extra shall be
payable on these accounts. Howevet GST shall be paid extra as per actual.
The Scope of work also includes obtaining 1. Consent to Establish, and 2. Consent to
Operate from Pollution Conffol Board for entire project. Fee for which will be paid as
per mutual agreement between both the parties

6. QUANTTTY VARTATTON

The UNIT item rates will remain frm for Qty. variation up to any extent.

7, PAYMENT TERMS

It is agreed that payment shall be made as under:

(ii) 25o/oof the contract value shall be paid against approval of shop drawings and
technical submittals.

8. LABOUR CESS

Labour cess shall be deducted @ 1o/o of the value of worh done.

9. DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD / WARRANTY PERIOD

Your Defect Iiability Period/comprehensive Warranty on all equipment / complete

installation of the plant shall be 3 (Three) Years from OEM from the date of
completion of commissioning or handing over whichevet is later. Mentot $Vater Experts
Pvt I-td.'s shall submrt full system 3 Years' waffaflt:! (performance and extended
warranty) on non-judicial stamp paper duly notarized by the competent authority. All
OEM Certificates shall also be submitted along with the waff^nq certificate. All inclusive
comprehensive mainteflance is also part of scope of DLP.

Any defects in material or workmanship obserwed during the execution of wotk or

within defects liability period shall be rectified by you at your own costs within time
frame specified by us. In case you fail to rectify any defects, the same will be rectified by
us at your risks and costs.

10. EXISTING FACILITIES

You will ensure, while worldng, that no damages are done to other facilities and will
make all necessaly provisions to protect them while executing the wotk at site and
proper screening of work will be done so that other neighborhood buildings / facilities
are not disturbed. It shall be noted that all liabilities shall be yours incase of any damage
to any of the surrounding buildings, our property or other agencies properry worki.ng at
site due to any negligence during execution.

. Measurement books for different subheads.
. Site order book.
. Ptogramme of work displayed at site.
. Material teceipt and tesung register.
. Statutory liabilities like PF, GST etc.

12. ESCAU.TION

It is hereby agreed that there shall not be paid any Escalation either on material ot labour
during total contract period.

13. SPACE FOR LABOUR HUTMENT / SITE INFRASTRUCTURE

You shall be allowed to set up youf site inftastructure and stores at the place earmarked
by the PMC. Temporary construction of stote shall be under your scope. You shall
make your own arrangement for housing for your labourers at your own cost outside the
site ptemises. You shall also be responsible for making al1 necessary arrangements for
labour's sanitation and security fot such hutment/ infrastructure at youf cost. Also, you
shall remove all such temporary coflstruction, etc at your own risks and costs before
handing over and as and when directed by the Owner/ PMC.

14. INSURANCES

The quoted rates are inclusive of all habilities towards Provident Fund / ESI for all
workers employed by you in the construction work. A statement along with copy of
challans showing the details of PF / ESI compliance shall be submitted by you monthly.
You shall also indemnify the Owner against any claims on the same during and after the
project.

The quoted rates are inclusive of all the insurances like CAR policy Workmen
Compensation, Third Party Insurance etc. will be submitted with the Owner within 15
Days of start of the work. All the insurances submitted shall be kept live till the final
handing over the site after the commissioning.

Necessary insurance of labour against any injuries to labour or damage to tools & plants
on account shall be got done by you and the copy of the same sent to us. The Client
^ny
shall not be responsible for any injudes or damage to labour or equipment etc. in any
mannef.

15. PERMISSIONS

You shall attange, provide all relevant documents, test reports ofl successful
commissioning of STP required in connection with the work at your own cost for
seeking,Permission from Maharashtra State Pollution Control Board. You will provide
all assistanc e in arranging the same. Consent to establish and consent to op"rrte from
pollution conttol board are also in your scope.

16. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES

LiquidatedDamages /Penalty shallbelevied @0.5%o of thecontractvalueperweekof

delay after agreed completion time, limited to a maximum of 5o/o of the contract value
(inclusive of amounts, increases or decreases, in respect of change orders).

17. PRICED BILL OF QUANTITIES

It is confrmed that the work executed shall be measured and paid for as per the actual
quantities executed as per the shop drawings duly approved by the Consultants f
Atchitects only.

18. TESTING

All the tests on materials, equipment, and workmanship that shall be necessary in
connection with the execution of the \7ork shall be done by you from NABL acctedited
Lab from outside at your cost as detailed in the contract document.

19. WATER & ELECTRICITY

\Water & Electricity shall be drawn from the main civil Contractor's designated metered
point installed at site on chargeable basis. Any furthet distribution / storage shall be
arranged by you at your own cost upto any height / level. Al1 consumption charges
recorded in the meter against the same shall be paid to the Civil contractor direcdy by
you.

20. LOCKABLE STORAGE OF MATERIAL

Only space shall be provided to you for making lockable store. You shall make your own
store and lock & key arrangement to store the material. You shall be responsible for
watch and ward of the material whether procured by you or free issued to you (if any).
You shali be responsible for any pilferage, theft and damage of the equipment f material
till it is installed, commissioned and handed over to us.

21. SAFETY PROVISIONS

The Conmactor shall take full responsibility for the adequate stability and safety of all
their site operations and methods of execution of work, subject to provision of excepted
risks and special risks. The Contractor shall at his own expense affartge for the safety in
his operations as required. Safety provisions shall be as per the latest safety manuals
published by Indian Standard Institution, Statuary Rules, Regulations and Provisions of
contfact conditions and as per the attached Safety Manual issued by the Project Manager.
In case the Conmactor fails to make such arrangements the Owner / Prcject Manager or
his Authorized Representative shall be entided to cause them to be provided and to
recover the cost thereof from the Contractor. "Site Safety Measures" and all "Safety
Habits are required to be taken and ensured by the 'Conttactor'. This includes wearing
safety helmets, gumboots while working, gloves and safety belt etc. electtical safety and
proper housekeeping at project site.

22. REVENTION OF POLLUTION

The Contractor shall ensure that at all times during the execution of the works that all
reasonable precautions are taken to the satisfaction of the Owner / Project Manager f
his Authorized Representative to prevent pollution of site and of the environment.
Furthet, the Contractor shall take all the steps necessary to protect the Environment and
comply with all the NGT rules, regulations, notifications etc as applicable and indemnify

23. COYID-l9 COMPLIANCE

The Contractor shall adhere to follow government rules, regulations and advisory to
compliance of Covid-19 precautions at site during execution period. !7o* must be
undertaken in compliance with guidance published by the Ministry of Health / Nodal
Agency for compliance relevant to the work and intended to limit the risk of spreading
Covid-19. Any of the pertnit, approval related to Covid-19 required to be taken from
government or any other authority will be taken care by Contractor. Covid-19 special
gutdelines is attached as an Annexure.

24. SCAFFOLDING

It is conftmed that all scaffolding as required for the project shall be arranged and
provided by you at your owfl cost. You shall be responsible for its assembling, fixing &
dissembling as per your requirement at site.

25. CONSENT TO ESTABLISH AND CONSENT TO OPERATE (CTO)

You shall be contractually obligated to liaison with Pollution Control Board, Pune,
Maharashtra for obtaining approvalf consent to establish and approval/consent to
operate from Pollution Control Board (PCB) fot all packages for the entire project will
be in your scope. Actual cost of the same shall be reimbursed to you post issuance of
consent. Handing over of the plant will be consideted after receiving CTO permission.

26. TECHNICAL COORDINATION POST ISSUE OF WORKORDER BY PMC

A1l technical coordination post issue of Work order and day to day supervision at site
shall be handled by our PMC M/s. Jones Lang LaSalle Propety Consultants (India)
Pvt. Ltd. (ILL).

27. OTHERS

1. Panel shall be from same manufactuters as in othet packages as approved by

Client/PMC.
2. Contractor shall submit to the Client quartedy test reports for raw f teated / flushing
water.
3. Conttactot's Supervisor shall be well quali{ied with 4-5 yrs experience.
4. Dudng Maintenance period the Vendor's resources should be well dressed up with
safety equipments like safety shoes, gloves, nose mask, oxygen cylinder, all personal

29. CONTROL
You shall be responsible for Quality control monitoring through periodical audit at your
own cost. '

30. You will be required to furnish detailed works programme for all Blocks /micro level
pert chart in relation to the overall compleuon time. Vfeekly project co-ordination
meeting will be held at site to monitor above programme / progr.rr and wherever
required. Suitable modrfication shall have to made by you to achieve overall targets. A
full-time technically qualified Project Manager of requisite experience will need to be
stationed at site during execution period to ensure co-ordination, quality, safety, progress
etc. and to update the Owner, Architects & Project Manager about the progress besides
replying ther queries.

31. As per statutory provisions, deductions shall be made on account of Income tax / other
statutory deductions etc. from your bills as applicable and nothing extra shall be payable
on this account.

32. You shall abide by all labour laws in respect of all the labour/manpower engaged for this
work. In the event of any liability on DIT EDUCATION FOUNDATION by virtue
of its being the Principal Employer, due to your failure to comply with all required
statutory compliances, you will indemnify and reimbutse the amount payable by
DIT EDUCATION FOUNDATION on this account.

33. Samples of matedals to be used in wotk must be got approved ftom the Consultants /
Architects / Prcject Managers well in advance before taking up the execution.

34. Materials tequired fot satisfactory completion of work shall be of best quality, make,
grade, as mentioned in the Pdce Schedule and f or conf<>rming to Indian standatd
specification (atest edition), wherever appl-icable, and apptoved by Engineer-in-
Charge / P rcj ect Manager.

35. All disputes & differences of any kind in the contract, it shall be amicably settled or
otherwise the arbitrator shall solely be deputed by the Chairman of DIT EDUCATION
FOUNDATION, the disputes and differences that still arise shall be subject to the
iurisdiction of appropriate courts.

36. CANCELLATION OF THE CONTRACT:

Any time without any prejudice DIT EDUCATION FOUNDATION shall have the

final bill.

INTRODUCTION FMR - FLUDISED MEDIA REACTOR

Conventional waste water treatment technologies like submerged aerated fixed film (SAFF) reactor, Trickling filters or
other activated sludge processes have inherent disadvantages of large area of operation, higher power inputs and
constant operator attention.

In line with our endeavor to introduce latest technologies related to Water & Waste water treatment, Ion Exchange (I)
Ltd. has developed FMR a Fluidized Media Reactor using attached growth process for Waste water treatment.
As compared to conventional Technologies FMR media reactors are compact, energy efficient and user friendly.

The FMR process refers to the operation of activated sludge tanks in various configurations in a combination of

Attached biomass, which is attached to the FMR media.

This technology is based on MBBR/FAB technology.

The FMR technology is a single tank design unit; incorporating

The bar screen removes larger floating matter and suspended particles. Screened sewage flows into the FMR tank,
which contains the FMR media. The FMR media significantly increases the surface area for bacterial growth. Air is
supplied through fine diffusers. Bacteria oxidise the organic matter present in the sewage. Oxidised sewage
overflows
in the lamella settler. Suspended particles in the treated wastewater settle, with a part of the settled sludge sliding
back
to the aeration tank. The lamella plates provide larger surface areas, thus reducing the settling tank size. Treated
water
overflows into a chlorine contact tank, wherein the treated water is disinfected by dosing hypochlorite solution
through an electronic dosing system.

Bar Screen:
Raw sewage from the source is usually received into the bar screen chamber by gravity. Screen provided will remove
all floating and big size matter such as plastic bottles, polythene bags, glasses, stones, etc., which may otherwise
chokethe pipeline and pumps.

Equalization Tank
Usually, sewage generation is more during morning hours and evening hours. Visually no sewage is generated during
night hours. Any biological system needs constant feed for bacteria to work efficiently. Hence, it is important to put an
equalization tank to collect the excess flow during peak hours and feed sewage in lean hours. A typical equalization
tank has a capacity of 8 – 12 hours of average flow rate. The tank is generally of civil construction by client. Provision
of
air grid is to be made for thoroughly mixing the sewage to make it of homogenous quality and to keep the suspended
matter in suspension and to avoid septic conditions.
Anoxic Tank
Our scope starts from transfer of sewage from Equalization Tank to Anoxic tank. The distance of transfer should not
exceed beyond 20 meter. The transfer pump can be either submersible or non-submersible type for this application.
However, we have considered centrifugal non-submersible type, nitrification & de-nitrification shall be done with the
help of slow RPM motor mounted on MS painted stand & fixed with SS agitator having 2 agitating blades.

Fluidised Media Reactor (FMR)

Fluidised Media Reactor (FMR) as the name indicates consists of floating media of various shapes and sizes.
The main objective of adding this media is to make available more surface area for bacteria to grow on, thereby
maintaining and retaining maximum possible bacterial population in a limited volume. The FMR media material allows
biomass Concentration of 20 – 40 Kgs/m3 material. Thus, FMR consists of combination of biomass in attached as
well
as suspended form. High concentration of biomass enables reduction of aeration tank and in turn reduction in overall
cost. Volume of the media shall vary from 6 to 25 % based on the concentration of organic matter.

Another main feature of the FMR is its compactness. The FMR consists of biological system for removal of organic
matter (BOD, COD), lamella for clarification and chlorine contact tank for disinfection. As all units are placed inside a
single tank, it saves space and also increases operational ease.

In FMR, raw sewage enters at the top of the tank. Air is introduced at the bottom of the tank through fine bubble
diffusers. Media will be in suspension because of the turbulence created by the air. The bacteria required for the
oxidation of the organic matter is
attached to the media and some part is suspended in the tank. After oxidation, the bacteria grow in number and need
to
be separated from the aeration tank liquor. The lamella section inside the FMR helps in clarification and separation of
the bacteria (sludge) and clear overflow flows into chlorine contact tank. Lamella plates helps in increasing the
settling
area and removing the particles effectively in a smaller plan area. In chlorine contact tank, Sodium hypo Chlorite
(NaOCl) is added for disinfecting the clarified sewage. Baffle plates are provided to make better contact.

The chlorinatedtreated sewage then flows out of FMR either for further treatment or for disposal.

After settling tank chlorine shall be dosed to remove bacterial effects at Chlorination tank by chlorine dosing pump.

Break water tank

The clarified water shall be stored in break water tank to feed in Filtration plant and carbon filter for final treatment.

Multi Grade Filtration Plant

After Break water tank it will be pumped to filtration plant to treat further

Activated carbon Filter

After Filtration plant filtered water shall be pass through ACF to remove chlorine and smell and colour .

Final treated water tank

Final treated water shall be stored in final tank for further re- uses and other low end applications.

Sludge:
The sludge from the Clarifier to be transfer from the bottom of the Clarifier once in a week by gravity/pump to SHT
and it will be pumped to filter press/Drying bed to final dewatering.
Final solid shall be used as manure and water shall be re-circulated to EQ.
