My journey in the Universitas Lancang Kuning

Hello friends, My name is Zulham Hakim, and I will tell you about my journey to study at
Lancang Kuning University.

Since childhood, I really liked studying law, and I also wanted to become a judge one
day. According to my name, in my family there were also some who became lawyers and
judges. From the past, I was also often taken away to mingle with lawyers, learn the elements
of law, and be motivated to achieve my dream of becoming a judge.

Since my school days, I have wanted to continue my education at Lancang Kuning

University. I have always loved law matters, so I chose Lancang Kuning University as my next
destination to study because I knew Lancang Kuning University had faculties. the best law with
good accreditation

Another reason I chose to major in law at Lancang Kuning University was that the first
reason I had to choose to study at the Faculty of Law was to form a brave character. Actually,
I can develop this courageous character through any major I choose, not just in the law
department. However, when I studied at the law department, I was sure that I would have more
abilities.

That increased ability is sharpening the courageous character that already exists within.
This is because in college I will be forced to solve the cases given to me. When a case is
determined to be my responsibility, I have the obligation to see it through to the end.

The reason for entering law school is to develop the courage that is in me to resolve
cases down to their roots. This will shape me to become a reliable lawyer and judge in the
future. As well as courage, becoming an accomplished lawyer requires the ability to
communicate and devise clever strategies.

The next reason for entering law school is so that I can become an individual who is
able to think critically and has the potential to become a prosecutor or judge in the future. By
studying law, I will be invited to see something that is happening from various points of view
or existing perspectives.
 So for these reasons, I decided to continue my law education at Lancang Kuning
University, and when independent registration opened in August 2022, I registered online and
took the online entrance test. The day after the test, I was declared to have passed the test, and
I continued to take care of the administration of independent pathway registration.

After completing the entire registration process, I started my first lecture on September
6, 2022. In class, I met many new friends of various characters, but until now I didn't hang out
much because I'm a little introverted. Even though I didn't hang out much or say hello to new
friends, it doesn't mean I'm arrogant because I'm just afraid.

After studying for the first semester, I feel very happy because I was met with a good
and comfortable learning environment. The lecturers here are all good and very good at
teaching in class, not as stiff and scary as I thought before. The lecturers here are also very
humble and can make the class atmosphere not rigid, so that all students can absorb the
knowledge that is taught well without much pressure.

After studying in semester 1, it was time for us to carry out the final semester exam.
This exam made me a little tense because I was afraid of failing.

During the exam holidays, I plan to live in Bangkok, Thailand, until the new semester
begins; I really love the life and culture of the people there, so every vacation I always go there
and feel like I am also part of them. About my vacation plans after the final exam, I can't tell
you much because the life of the people there was not much different from that in Indonesia.
