RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carries out preventive maintenance programs, break down and emergency repairs.
Suggests maintenance routines and guides supervised workmen.
• Assists in project management including feasibility studies, design, engineering, technical
specifications, tendering, erection, testing and commissioning.
• Assists in the development and evaluation of Technical Specifications for new equipment,
changes in maintenance program and equipment handling.
• Assists in preparation of budgets. Assists in tender and evaluation of quotations, awarding
work to contractors and supervising them to ensure the meeting of required standards.
• Maintains a liaison with KESC for ensuring uninterrupted bulk supply of electricity.
• Assists the superiors in the development of departmental procedures and targets.
Maintains log of works and records major repair jobs in equipment history in SAP.
• Knowledge of maintenance & repair of Electrical equipment such as motors, Switchgears,
panels, fire alarm system, MCPs, UPS, Air Conditioning Units, gas engines, electrical
distribution network & etc.
