Modular and adaptable, the AERIS line covers all the requirements of
every user of Open-Circuit Isolating Breathing Apparatus. Developed
from a new system, the AERIS line is based on a new High/Medium
Pressure reducer, a new Harness and a new Pressure Gauge / Alarm
assembly. The various models accepts a full range of accessories.

1. CYLINDER:
AERIS Marine accepts cylinders from 4 to 9 litres (9 litres for single only) of 20 to 60 minute duration.

2. BACK PACK:
Moulded anatomic non-metallic back plate with two large side arms.
3 carrying handles & 3 attachment points for life line with pulling resistance up to 150Kg.
Shoulder straps and belt with fast adjustment buckle.
Straps and buckles made of flame resistant material.
2 reflective straps on front side of the shoulder strap.
Easy and quick adjustable camlock device to secure any type of cylinder strap tightening.
One version for single or twin cylinders.

3. HP/MP REDUCER:
New model, piston type, accept either 200 or 300 bar.
Equipped with a second medium pressure outlet for accessories connection ( rescue, second wearer...).
Mounted on a swivel to ease cylinder connection of all type of cylinders.
HP reducer is accepting without modification one or two cylinders by just adding a manifold.
Easy and quick to service and adjust & Easy serviceable and adjustable.
Perfect stability of the Medium Pressure adjusted at 7.5 bars.
Fitted with a safety relief valve.

4. HIGH PRESSURE GAUGE & WHISTLE:

Positioned close to the ear on the left shoulder strap.
Alarm is integrated in the high pressure gauge handle and is supplied with medium pressure to save maximum
air (less than 4,5 L/Mn), highly powerful (90dBA / 3000hz at 1m). The whistle is triggered at 55 bar +/- 5 bar.
High pressure gauge of Bourdon type with a highly photo-luminescent screen, double rating 0-400bar and 0-40 MPA.
Protected with a rubber cover .

5. AUTOMATIC POSITIVE PRESSURE ZENITH DEMAND VALVE:

FENZY ‘AirKlic’ quick connection is an unique concept.
Fully Automatic positive pressure at time of connection of the demand valve on the mask.
No first breath required to operate the demand valve.
“SAFETY” connection type ZENITH (with 2 attachment points).
Automatic shut off of air supply at disconnection without any manipulation.
Positive pressure 5 ± 0,5 Mb.

6. FULL FACE MASKS:

3 available different models certified as per European Standard EN 136 – III (=Industrial & Fire application): 1998
FENZY masks are available with head straps or Nomex® net or connection kit for firemen helmet.
• Wide vision BIOMASK with inner half-mask. Polycarbonate visor with anti-scratch and anti-chlorine coatings, metallic half-frames.
Equipped with high performance speech diaphragm. Exhalation valve adjusted to 5 ± 0,5 Mb. Made of Neoprene.
• Panoramic PANORAMASQUE screen with inner half-mask. Polycarbonate visor with anti-scratch and anti-chlorine coatings. Equipped
with high performance speech diaphragm. Exhalation valve adjusted to 5 ± 0,5 Mb. Made of EPDM or Silicone.
• Panoramic vision COSMO with inner half-mask. Polycarbonate visor with anti-scratch and anti-chlorine coating. Equipped with high
performance speech diaphragm. 2 exhalation valves adjusted to 5 ± 0,5 Mb. Made of EPDM or Silicone.

DIN EN 144-2 / EN 137 (which includes BS ).

AERIS Marine is certified as per European Standard EN 137- EN 136 and Bureau VERITAS Navy Approval.
AERIS Marine is also complying with ISO 9001 (Inspec UK). Insurance Quality policy
and is referenced for NATO Forces under N° 2444 Fr.

AERIS Confort :
New harness comprising NOMEX® backing cushions on
shoulder straps and backplate to ensure perfect
comfort during use and ideal weight distribution. A
rapid shoulder strap and twin belt adjustment system.
A universal frame accommodating all types of
cylinders in one-cylinder or two-cylinder
configurations.
A new High / Medium Pressure reducer with high-
reliability compensated piston, equipped in series
production with two MP outlets. Specially designed for
rapid, simplified maintenance. 200 and 300 bar
compatible, mounted on swiwel to facilitate
connection of all types of cylinders.
Automatic Demand Valve with ZENITH type 2-point
clip-on system. New Pressure Gauge with double
graduation in bar and MPA and high-photoluminescent
dial. High power acoustic alarm > 90 db.

Concept of a New Professional Self Contained Breathing Apparatus

Modular and adaptable, the AERIS range covers all the requirements of every user
of Self Contained Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus. The AERIS Phase II range
is based on a new thermo-compressed Harness, a High/Medium Pressure reducer,
complying with the PrEN 137 type 2 and a Pressure Gauge / Alarm assembly. The
AERIS Phase II various models accept four different kinds of masks and a full range
of accessories as the Angel 1 Personal Distress Signal Unit and the Angel 2
Warning and Monitoring Device.

Whistle operated on Medium Pressure to save maximum air (< to 5 litres) and really powerful

The whistle starts at 55 bar +/- 5 bar (adjustable) and operates continuously to indicate till last minutes of use.
Works even if the cylinder is not fully charged.

Particularity of the Airline Plus SINGLE / TWIN :
The Airline Plus is a very versatile breathing apparatus able to answer a lot of different needs in terms of
breathing protection.
The versatility of the 'AIRLINE PLUS depends on :
• Compressed air cylinder (material, capacity, pressure)
• Cylinder valve type
• Mask, and its protective resistance (EN 136)
• Connection type to the demand valve

Switching device :

Technical description :

It allows air to come to the demand valve either from a network of air or from the pressure reducer itself
mounted on the cylinder as follow :
During its use, the switching device is receiving air from the two sources of breathable air, the priority is always
given to the network as long as this one is supplying a sufficient pressure to the user. At any time, if the pressure
drops, the device switches automatically on the cylinder of the BA.

When the air switches to the cylinder, a whistle mounted on the device starts to blow to inform the user. He can,
from the same device, disconnect himself from the network of air and stop the whistle by pressing the button on
the switching block.

When you start to use your airline BA, by the time you connect to the network of air, if the air cylinder is not
open, the whistle is blowing. Indeed the user is informed that he has to open the cylinder valve to automatically
stop the whistle.
