Many are of the belief that modern technology is changing the way we work and this is for the
good of everyone. I believe this is true.

Nowadays, distance is not an obstacle to communicate with another person. There are modern
devices that we can utilise to reach out to our colleagues at work, such as, mobile phones, video-
conferencing apps like Zoom and Webex, as well as messaging apps like WhatsApp. Through these
innovative tools and services, mission critical task can be done a lot faster.

Furthermore, modern technologies can lead to more opportunities for an individual. Professionals
don’t need to be physically present at the job site to perform his function. Internet has made the
world smaller and makes everyone connected. IT engineers in particular can support their client
from different countries at the same time. Anyone can be a personal assistant or accountant in
their free time if they wanted. Thus, technology brings more opportunities for everyone and can
be a channel to earn more.

Finally, it can also be argued that innovative tech brings better work-life balance. This is due to the

continually evolving to become faster and more reliable. Moreover, people can now work from
home. This is an opportunity for parents to spend more time with their kids. These all leads to
