    competitive advantage it will have in the market, according to the link between quality
    and competitiveness. If the business maintains its position as a market leader,
    everything will be as planned.
    2. After World War II, the Japanese developed total quality management (TQM) with the help of
    quality authorities like Juran and Deming as their sources of inspiration. It went from being a
    process driven by external controls to one that was customer-focused. Prevention is more
