Buying Process

Consumer Decision Making Process, this basic psychological process plays an important role
in understanding how consumers actually make their buying decision. Marketers must
understand every facet of consumer behavior in terms of “who, what, when, where, how
and why”. Smart companies like MAGGI try to fully understand the consumer’s buying
decision process-all their experiences in learning, choosing and using of the product.

The buying behavior process that led me to purchase the Redgear Cosmo 7.1 series headset
is as follows:

1. Problem Recognition: I was in need of a new gaming headset as my old one was not
providing the quality of sound and microphone that I needed for gaming.
2. Information Search: I began searching for new gaming headsets online, reading
reviews, and comparing features to find the best option for my needs.
3. Evaluation of Alternatives: After researching several different options, I narrowed
down my choices to a few top contenders and evaluated each one based on factors
such as sound quality, microphone quality, and comfort.
4. Purchase Decision: After evaluating all of the options, I decided to purchase the
Redgear Cosmo 7.1 series headset based on its positive reviews, 7.1 surround sound,
and comfortable design.
5. Post-Purchase Evaluation: After using the headset for some time, I was satisfied with
my purchase and felt that it met my needs and expectations.

4. Purchase Decision: After evaluating all of the options, the consumer makes a decision

decision.
