    Summary week 1

    This week will form a valuable foundation for the weeks to follow as you now have an understanding
    of the environmental hazards that may have an impact on human health and how people impact on
    the environment. This was also summarised in a video from the World Health Organization. We also
    seen numerous photos that all of you posted of your environment that shows an aspect of
    environmental health. Each of you also discussed addressed how population growth impacts upon
    the environment. You also got to know five major events in the history of environmental health.

    Join me for the next week as we learn about the application of epidemiology and toxicology in the
    research area of environmental health.
