A PDF to help you start with PSD and Smart Objects

hi and thank you for purchasing this package.

The zip includes 25 PSDs in total organized by category.

Each PSD is organized in sub-folders with named layers, for easier and
more intuitive navigation. Below a step by step guide to start edit your
mockups.

Before start
These mockups are 100% editable in all his parts (shadows, dimensions
ecc) thank to the full shape design (no photographic mockup).

Every PSD is organized with marked colors and with two main
folders :

- Edition (marked in red)

- Mockup (marked in violet) (where all the design is contained)

You will also find an “Effect” and a “Background” folder, but “Edition”
and “Mockup” are the most importants

Layers organization
Before start editing your files is better to know how they are organized.
the mockup folder contains all the basic design files organized by
sub-folders and well-named by object:

The mockup folder contain all design elements. You can e

dit every single shape but you must be familiar in
order to proceed

inside each folder you will find three main levels / folders marked with
three different colors. It is important to know this as all PSDs are structu-
red in this way and once you understand the mechanism it will be easier
for you. the three color markers in question are the following:

Yellow is used to change the

color of the element in question

the orange color is the smart

object marker

the green contains all the design

elements of the mockup.

Change contents
to modify the content of a mockup remember to always intervene on the
"edition" folder, that is the one marked by the red color. When editing a
content you have two possibilities, paste your design or use the custom
template included in the various PSD.

1 Double click on the square thumbnail next to the layer name

2 If a pop-up opens, click yes. A new document will open.

3 The kit you purchased has an editable template included, so

at this point you can decide whether to use the template and
modify it to your liking, or insert your own image. If you decide
to use your image go directly to step 5 otherwise continue
from here.

4 To act on the included template, just check the "Edition" folder, then
double click to the smart object, a new file will open where you can edit
the individual elements. Don't forget to save (ctrl or cmd + s)
at the end of each change or the main file will not update.

5 To insert your screen, make sure the eye in the Edition (template) folder is
deselected. After that drag and drop your image.

6 Click on File > Save or cmd+s (ctrl on win), then close the file

If you have followed everything step by step, the mockup will be updated
with the new information. Conversely, make sure you've followed
everything to the letter.
