Good day!

It is a great pleasure and honor to continue my mission in imparting the skills

and knowledge I have and touching the lives of the future hope of our country,
the learners. Hence, I would like to apply for the vacant position as a SHS
Teacher II in STEM at your good office. I believe that my qualifications will
make me a competitive applicant for this job. I am a graduate of Bachelor in
Secondary Education Major in Mathematics and I passed last 2018 the
Licensure Examination for Teachers. As an alumna of Siquijor State College, I
have gained skills in teaching and facilitating learning through four years of
training and study in the College of Education. Furthermore, my Pre-service
Teaching at Campalanas National Highschool served a foremost bridge for me
to experience the real world of teaching. This bridge has turned into a firmer
and more authentic path when I taught one School Year in Assisi Highschool, a
private Catholic Highschool in Siquijor, Siquijor. During that, I handled
Mathematics classes, both Junior and Senior Highschool, became a Grade 10
Classroom adviser and a mentor of the AHS MTAP contestants.

Recently, I became a substitute teacher at Campalanas National Highschool for

two months and two days. The experience of substitute teaching gives me the
driving force to continue applying for an item until I get hired. I found it so
satisfying and fulfilling seeing again students with eyes full of wonderment and
thirst for knowledge. Aside from teaching Math, I am also an organize person, I
write my tasks on a daily planner and it feels rewarding every time I
accomplish those. I am fond of watching non-fiction videos, TED talks,
financial literacy videos and enrolling in any learning platforms. I never get
tired of learning new skills every day, hitting desired goals and looking for
solutions in every encountered problem, I can be a great help for the
Department. My mantra in life is to “always get started” in order to make
things done.

Herewith are my pertinent documents. I am hoping and looking forward for a

positive response regarding my application. Whenever you find my potential
worthy for the job, I will be eager to come over to discuss to you my skills. I will
be willing to come for an interview and/or next level of application process.
