- Hello, I’m the vet and I’ll be examining your pet today.
- Go to the consultation room and I’ll examine your pet.
- Can you tell me what the problem is.
- Is it your routine check-up?
- How is your cat feeling?
- I need to complete the pet’s information sheet. How old is Molly (your pet)?
- Is Molly on any medication now?
- Have you noticed any symptoms/ signs of disease?
- I’d like to ask you some questions to find out what is wrong with Molly.
- Can you describe Molly’s eating habits?
- How long has Molly been feeling unwell?
- Has she been drinking normally?
- How long has Molly been eating less?
- When did the vomiting start?
- What colour are her stools?
- Have you noticed any changes in her behaviour?
- Are there any changes in the amount of water Molly drinks?
- Do you regularly bathe your cat?
- Have you noticed abnormal loss of hair.
- When the examination is done, I’ll let you know.
- We need to carry out a diagnostic test. Have you had any tests with you?
