A Reflection Paper about the Question Concerning Technology by Martin

Heidegger and the Good Life by Aristotle

"Science allows you to draw conclusions in a logical, demonstrable fashion, from known facts and principles.
Intuition gives you the first principles and allows you to bootstrap the process of science. Philosophy answers the big
questions, such as what, where, why, when, and how. Art gives you the ability to create things that would not exist but for
the artist's skill. Wisdom enables you to choose the appropriate means for the ultimate end (eudaimonia) at which life
points." Therefore, these Aristotle's intellectual virtues are manifested in technology.

In addition, I'm sorry to say that I disagree with Heidegger's assertion that technology poses the most significant
risk. The gravest danger to our existence. I believe that lacking these character characteristics that Aristotle described poses
the greatest threat to human existence. Despite modern technology, I think humans can still pursue eudaimonia or happiness.
Wars between nations occur because some people do not uphold these moral principles. If individuals practiced these
characteristics, there wouldn't have been a pandemic in the first place. These characteristics are the foundation of peace
since they outweigh every negative aspect of our world, help people, and assist nations.

Finally, I discovered that technology is the outward expression of the five intellectual qualities. I can say that I’m
disagreeing at Heidegger's assertion that technology poses the most significant threat because our greatest foe is us.
Consequently, a life that combines technology and moral qualities is a desirable existence.
