● What can you tell me about your character based on the script?

● What do you think is the purpose of your character in the story? Choose a line that
embodies this purpose (think about what is impactful, or why they are important in the
story).

● What emotion/emotions do you think you’ll have to portray as your character? Cite the
specific lines/moments in the script.

● What do you imagine your character would wear?

● What can you infer about your character’s personality from the script?

● Make up a backstory for your character–please include anything from the script if there is
information there. Why are they on the ship? How did they come to this moment? What
was their profession, etc. This should be a lengthy paragraph/description.

● How do you relate to your character? This can be the fact that you were in a similar
situation, or have something to do with their personality, etc. There is always a way for
us to relate to a character, whether it’s because the character is similar to us, or feels
emotions we’ve felt before.
