Interview Tips

This is your opportunity to show us why you are right for the job and to get to know us better. In
addition to discussing experience, competencies, and qualifications, both you and your interviewer
can assess the overall cultural fit with the organization. It is important to come prepared.

Know Dedalus & Your Job Role

Read the attachments which talks about Dedalus Organization & a JD which explains the job role you
will be interviewed.

On the day of Interview:

 Join/Reach the venue 5-10 minutes prior to the schedule.


 Be punctual and dress professionally (also for virtual interviews).
 Listen to questions carefully and answer in a concise manner.
 Be honest, confident, and enthusiastic.
 Research common interview questions.
 Collect examples from your work history and projects to show that you have the experience/skill
to perform the key tasks specified in the job description. If this is your first job and you do not
have specific work experience, use examples from areas such as your education, interests,
hobbies, and so on.
 Prepare to ask questions about key responsibilities, team structure, challenges, future
development opportunities, and career path in technical rounds.
 Think of your strengths and weaknesses and be ready to provide concrete examples.
 Relax and enjoy the experience.

Online interview:

To guarantee a lean and simple process, we prefer online interviews or assessments. This will allow
you to decide on the time, day and set up of the interview, within given time frames. While the
recommendations outlined in the interview section above are valid, you may want to check on the
points below:

 MS Team (desktop version) needs to be installed.


 Check the internet connectivity before at least 5mins of interview.
 Camera and mic are working properly (usually you can do a test on the interview platform
directly).
 Must be having one identity card ready (PAN/Aadhar/Driving License) showcase during the
interview.
 Requesting the candidate to ensure the interview is taken in laptop mode only & NOT mobile.
 Room/set up have proper lighting, look for quiet surroundings where possible.
 The situation may be new to you, remember to be yourself and relax before starting the
interview.
