INTRODUCTION:

The Enhanced School Improvement Plan (SIP) OF Salaman Central Elementary School was
created and formed in accordance with RA 9155 which is known as the Governance of Basic Education
Act of 2001 and in compliance to DepEd order 44, s. 2015.

The SIP lays down the direction to which the school is going. The path to improvement is
meticulously discussed by the teachers, pupils and stakeholders. Several steps were followed as in the
assessment, planning and action-taking.

The school profile is a reflection on how the community works hand in hand with the school for
the welfare of the school children. The stakeholders are mentored to take an active role in making plans
for the school and parents are expected to be involved, too, and not just a passive on-looker and worst
indifferent to the endeavor to improve their child.

The compilation and gathering of data were made possible through the collaborative efforts of
School-Community Planning Team (SPT) and committees who worked beyond their limits and extended
their time above their comfort. The barangay governments of the immediate locality were also notable
in extending their help and for their important role in motivating their constituents to open up.

This Enhance SIP will be a testament of collaboration and cooperation of the school and
community. This will serve as a guide in the attainment of the purpose of the school aligned to the
national goals. The school head takes extra care and measures to address the areas of concern and
inspire the school community to take a step further for the improvement of the school and the learners
which it caters. The accomplishments of the school is a gift of love to the profession to which the
teachers dedicate themselves in return to the goodwill of the community which nurtures the school.

the changing administrations and charters. The present day Department of Education was eventually
mandated through Republic act 9155, otherwise known as the Governance of Basic Education act of
2001 which establishes the mandate of this agency.
The Department of Education (DEPED) formulates, implements, and coordinates policies, plans,
programs and projects in the areas of formal and non-formal basic education. It supervises all
elementary and secondary education institutions, including alternative learning systems, both public and
private, and provides for the establishment and maintenance of a complete, adequate, and integrated
system of basic education relevant to the goals of national development.
