 Can be bound up in memory and histories, folklore is also ties to vibrant living
traditions and creative expression today.
 Folklore serves to teach about and preserve the culture of the people or folk which
it speaks about.
 The word “folklore” names an enormous and deeply significant dimension of
culture.
 The main purpose of folklore s to convey a moral lesson and present useful
information and everyday life lessons in an easy way for the common people to
understand.
The Leopard Folklore from Central Africa
 Leopard is the worth largest cat in the world: one of the four “big cats” in the
Panthera genus, along with the tiger, lion and the jaguar crouched.
