Significance of the Study

This research is made with the aim to know the perception of Senior high
school students towards the mandatory ROTC.

This study is conducted to benefits the following:

Students: They will be trained to become a leader and manager.


They can gain experience you can’t find anywhere else.
Also, they will be able to gain the respect of their peers and future
employees.

Parents: They will be made aware that participation to ROTC can be driven by
Prestige, opportunities and financial benefits. They would be to encores
and experience firsthand how their love for country can be natured.

AFP(Military): They will benefit from college students for possible services in
the defense establishment during the event of an emergency. Trained officers
and enlisted personnel for the reserve components of the armed forces of the
Philippines (AFP); are advantages for the country.

Researchers: This research study researcher to gather more information


about the mandatory ROTC. Also, their opinion about the benefits of this
program to the senior high school students can be generalized.
