EXT. EMBER'S TOWN - DAY
13 year-old EMBER walks alone down the empty dirt paths of
her home town. Memories filling her head in place of the
silence.
FLASHBACK to EMBER as a 5-year old running around a small
fenced in yard with her FATHER.
FATHER
Gotcha!
FATHER wraps his arms around EMBER

EMBER
EEK!
Giggles as she wiggles free from her FATHER's grasp
SCENECHANGE to 5-year old EMBER and her 10-year old brother
BRANDON sitting in his bedroom. Inaudible yelling in the
distance, the door SLAMS shut and there is silence. EMBER
looks at BRANDON worriedly.
BRANDON
It's ok, he will be back. Until
then, I'll protect you.
BRANDON hugs EMBER
SCENECHANGE to EMBER and BRANDON growing up over the course
of the frozen memories. BRANDON holding EMBER on her bike.
Next flying a kite. Running around the yard.
SCENECHANGE to 13-year old EMBER and 18-year old BRANDON
sitting on the backyard porch steps.
BRANDON (CONT'D)
I really wish you could understand,
but it’s too difficult to explain.
It is really important for me to
continue training elsewhere. I’ll
come back and visit still, I love
you and I will never leave you
forever.
Hugs EMBER, then get's up and leaves the scene
A muffled shouting is heard in the background and a door
slam, making all quiet.
EMBER
You better come back.

EMBER grits her teeth

You promised you would protect me
and that you would come back.
Return to the present, EMBER's body glows an orange. She
takes a deep breath and the flames extinguish. She steps
through some bushes and it opens into a clearing, MAY
accompanied by HATCHET resting on her shoulder, DOVE, CAM,
and ZHIPH waiting in a group.
MAY
Good everyone's here. We all ready?
ALL (MINUS MAY)
*Clamored responses of approval*

EXT. CLEARING OUTSIDE A CAVE - DAY

The group is lined up side-by-side, MAY commanding orders in
front of them, the whole group performing tasks following her
orders. HATCHET observes from the sides.
MAY
Push-ups, 5!
the group drops down and does 5 push-ups
Run in place!
the group runs in place
Get down!

the group drops to their stomachs

EXT. CLEARING OUTSIDE A CAVE - EVENING

The group is set up in pairs, fighting each other with their
elemental powers, while MAY and HATCHET observe.
The clearing scenes repeat a few times, quickening and
overlapping each other. The commands becoming more intense.

INT. CAVE - NIGHT

The group sits tired in the cave around a camp fire after
their multiple long days of training.
MAY
Get your rest. We leave at dawn.
It's time to take VIS down. We have
a few people joining to help out.

EXT./INT. VIS'S CASTLE - EVENING

CAM, DOVE, and ZHIPH fight an army of soldiers outside the
castle. (Camera pans to right) MAY and EMBER burst into the
throne room. Greeted by VIS sitting in the throne.
VIS
Ah, if it isn't Arrow! And you've
brought others with you,
Camera pans over MAY and EMBER's grimacing reaction as VIS
continues
VIS (CONT'D)
What a similar situation, it's
quite...nostalgic.
MAY and EMBER enter their power forms and fight VIS. A few
seconds later, MAY's power causes a flash, changing the
scene.

EXT. CLEARING - NIGHT

EMBER and the rest of the group enter the clearing surrounded
by woods while MAY, now in a turquoise power form shaped like
a hawk, fights VIS in the air, center of the clearing.
ZHIPH
I have a plan, spread out along the
edges, we're going to launch one
big final attack.
The team spreads out around the center battle between VIS and
MAY. Powers flowing throughout each of their bodies.
ZHIPH  (CONT'D)
Now!
Slow Motion: The team launches a final attack, a blinding
light transitioning to the final scene.

EXT. CLEARING - MORNING

The early rise of the sun glares on the injured team, each
holding each other up in a line. Camera zooms in on EMBER's
eyes, a purple flash travels her eyes.
