Vanessa’s Challenge Question
Use the space below to write a few sentences about this prompt. Tell me about your
favorite traditions on your favorite holiday. Try to use 3+ expressions from this
lesson.

Sample answer: When I was a college student, I was broke a lot, so I found ways to still
be festive for the fall holiday season. I really love Halloween and Thanksgiving, so one
of my favorite traditions is taking the pumpkins I set out for Halloween decorations and
making pumpkin pie and soup for Thanksgiving. The whole fall season, I like to spend
time with my friends, hanging out and watching thrillers and whodunits.
