“The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination” – Albert Einstein

Dear Parents,
It is exhilarating to see our little ones settle down beautifully in their classes. It is our constant
endeavor to provide a healthy, safe and enthusiastic environment to our tiny tots to make
them happy and confident. A bond which we have developed within our little ones is very
evident in the classroom and the corridors. Children enjoyed the Earth Day activity which
generated their interest and awareness to save Mother Earth.

VALUE OF THE MONTH: Equality among people

Green FACT

A carbon footprint is the total

amount of greenhouse gases
produced to directly and indirectly
support human activities, usually
expressed in equivalent tons of
carbon dioxide (CO2). When we
drive a car, heat or cool our house,
use electronics, and even buy food
and goods, there is production of
some quantities of CO2. Carbon
emissions have serious
consequences for humans and their
environment such as shrinking
water supplies, global warming,
droughts, severe weather
conditions, reduced agriculture, rise GREEN TIP
in sea levels causing different
natural calamities such as tsunami,
cyclones, earthquakes, etc. Tips for contributing in
reducing carbon foot prints

1. Hang out the washing instead of

tumble drying.
2. Turn down the cooling by 1⁰C
3. Only fill the kettle & boil with the
amount of water you need. Use
pressure cooker for cooking.
4. Spend less time in the shower.
5. Turn electrical equipment off
when not in use. Turn off
equipment when not in use,
especially lights, chargers etc. Use
LED or CFL lights
6. Walk or use carpool.
7. Buy locally produced or seasonal
food.
8. Read the newspaper online
