1. BBK should focus on the Innovation. It came up different technologies like Camera Expert,
Processor Powers, 65 W Charging, and likewise. It should continue to come up with
innovative features in future to sustain in the market.
2. It should focus on knowing the needs and interests of the markets, depending on which
products should be designed and produced and marketed.
3. Maintain the Customer relationship. Never loose the existing customer who brings the new
customers.

Geographical Based:

1. India has different cultures and sub-cultures.


2. It is good to have different market strategies depending on the geographical conditions.
3. BBK is planning for customization of market into south & north which may not work but it
should focus on the customization of marketing strategies for south & north markets.
4. Marketing strategies differently for south & north based on the cultures, local traditions can
be framed to continue and increase the good market share.
5. Rather it should focus on marketing segmentation based on price range such as low-cost,
medium range, premium range categories, which is the main strength and focus of BBK.

Marketing Mix of BBK for Rural Markets:

Product: BBK Electronics should focus on the understanding the needs of the rural markets. Rural
markets are very sensitive and plays a large role in the revenue generation. Rural People generally
don’t see much of the features offered, but focus on the colours, availability, price. BBK should come
up with the products based on the interest and needs of the Rural People

Price: Price is the major factor especially in the rural market. They just go for basic and cost-based
products. General mentality of rural people is like, they don’t want to spend too much on mobile
phones, and they just look for the low-budget phones, which serves the basic purpose. I do agree
that there are customers in rural markets also where they seek for a premium mobile, but main
focus should be on the medium-range phones.

Place: Place here refers to availability of mobiles in the place convenient to the rural areas. Rural
areas generally have a nearby town/city where dealers are located. Convenience in the availability of
mobiles should be the important factor.

Promotion: As per trends, Physical campaigning and Traditional techniques of marketing have a
tremendous impact in getting the desirous share in the rural market for any industry. BBK may focus
on the advertising with large holdings, displays at gatherings like movie theatres. Word-of-mouth
marketing may have a good impact on getting a new customer from rural market. So, the
relationship with existing customer should be maintained in a good manner.

Price range of 8k-14k:

As I have already mentioned rural market is very sensitive and they don’t want to spend too much
on the goods like phones. Medium price range products (8k-14k) is a good customization for a rural
market. There are customers in rural markets also who wish to have a premium phone, but the share
of such customers is low. Major revenue can be generated from the medium range phones in rural
market. Strategies focused on the penetration of medium range of mobiles should be the key factor
for rural markets.
