Installing Windows 10 in an Oracle VM VirtualBox

1. Install VirtualBox and the Windows 10 ISO file. You can now open VirtualBox after downloading and
installing it.

2. Open and run VirtualBox, and click the "New" icon on the upper-side of the machine. From
the screen that appears, type Windows 10 in the name field. Then, from the Version drop-down
box, select Windows 10, and choose either the 32-bit or 64-bit version, depending on the ISO
you downloaded.

3. The amount of RAM you want to allocate to your Windows 10 virtual machine will then be asked for.
A suggested amount of RAM will be displayed for you.

4. Set the Windows 10 system's minimum RAM needs in accordance with the maximum
amount of RAM that your host computer can support. If your host has 8 GB of RAM and you
just intend to use the Windows 10 machine on your system, you can configure the RAM
amount to 4 GB. Click "next" repeatedly until the "finish" button appears, then click it.

5. After you click "finish," it begins to install, and then the setup process begins. Wait while the Windows
wizard prepares the files for installation. It will take a few minutes to finish this. From here on in, it's just
like any normal Windows installation, with the usual occasional reboots. The reboots happen inside
VirtualBox, not on your machine itself.

6. Your computer's Windows will restart. As it prepares the installation, be patient and wait for it.

7. Hold on while the device configures your device. This will take a little while to complete.
8. After the installation, Windows 10 will run as a virtual machine. The Windows 10 installation
is complete, and it is running, indicating that the installation was successful and that Windows 10
is now ready for use.
