Subject: Celebration of Parakram Diwas - reg.

The undersigned is directed to enclosed a copy of DO letter of even no. dated 14th
January, 2023 from Secretary (HE) to Heads of all Centrally Funded Higher Education
Institutes on the subject mentioned above, vide which all the Heads have been requested to
make the students aware of the four activities organized on MyGov Platform by M/o
Defence on the occasion of Parakram Diwas.

2. All the Bureau Heads are requested to issue directions to the institutions under their
administrative control to take necessary action in this regard.

As you know, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, 23rd
January is observed as Parakram Diwas. This year it has been decided to organize
special competitions for school and university students on the occasion through MyGov,
and invite the winners to attend the Republic Day parade. In this regard, the M/o
Defence has hosted four activities on MyGov platform, the details of which are enclosed
at Annexure-I. The end date of all these activities is 20th January, 2023.

2. The best 25 entries will be rewarded with a cash prize of ? 5,000/- each. Winners
will get an opportunity to visit the Republic Day parade and will be felicitated during
Republic Day celebrations. Travel and lodgings will be provided to the winners.

3. I would, therefore, request you that the students from HEIs may be made aware
of the activities and encouraged for maximum participation in the competitions.
