DKT was established in 2013 by six members and with over 23,000 hours of work dedicated to the
development and the implementation of the new helicopter DKT-SkyRider.

Our goal is to become the helicopter manufacturing company that best understands and matches product
requirement and needs from clients, globally.

Our market expertise and knowledge enable us to custom design rotary wing aircrafts meeting specific
clients requirements, market changes as well as dynamically adjusting to today’s battlefield needs.

We are constantly preparing our organization for tomorrow’s challenges and major market opportunities
in this business thanks to a well established management team which is strived in achieving important
milestone.

2013 First steps into design and development of the SkyRider Light Helicopter
2014 First prototype of SkyRider: Helicopter takes off

DKT PRECISION DESIGN
DKT is head-quartered in Ambri Aerodrome, in
the South of Switzerland, an area fast becoming
an extension of the great aeronautic and
automotive cluster of Northern Italy ; in the heart
and homeland of Leonardo Helicopters.
The precision qualities of Swiss engineering are
enhanced by Italian design and materialized in
the rugged yet aesthetic Skyrider. Over 500
hours of flight and ground testing have been
executed at Ambrì Airport.

Efficient Powertain
We elected to use high cubic-capacity engine with
high torque, resulting in a unique drivetrain (high
volumetric capacity engine running at lower RPM
leads to simpler, more efficient and highly reliable
transmissions).
Using a flathead engine instead of an overhead
engine results in a physically smaller powertrain.
Light Flathead design enables the use of liquid
cooling, hence safer operation in a wider range of
.ambient temperatures (e;g. Deserts and tropical)
PRODUCTION & SUPPORT
The production facility is to be located along with
our R&D, at Ambri airport and Como (CO) Italy.
Except for the rotor blades, all parts (mechanical,
electrical and electronic) are manufactured by our
partners and our exclusive engine supplier.
Final assembly and testing is to be made at Ambri,
under strict control of in-house quality system.
After-sales support and maintenance is to be
provided through our already existing international
network.

Highly autonomous UAS platform:
Autonomous casualties evacuations from the battlefield or ISR missions, the DKT helicopter can indifferently be flown in manned or unmanned
configurations. In UAS mode, the DKT vector is capable of conducting autonomous remote sensing, surveillance and other tactical missions traditionally
incumbent to conventional UAV, leading to significant operational cost savings and unmatched flexibility.
