Narrator:
There once were Three Kingdoms

The North, The East and The South. In the heart of Japan, these villages lived in peace and
harmony. They were each ruled by three kings. Sasuke the king of the North, Itachi the king
of the East and then Orochimaru. These villages survive on trade. Each trade done has to be a
three way to create and keep equality. From valuable treasure to small seeds, everything was
split three ways. In the middle of these villages was a magical entity, the tree Chiyo of the
power was to give One day Sasuke was talking with Itachi about gold.

INT. SASUKE’S THRONE ROOM

Sasuke:

Itachi my friend I have a deal you can’t refuse

NARRATOR:

They talked and talked until a trade was made

INT. SASUKE’S THRONE ROOM

Sasuke:
 It was a pleasure doing business with you

Sound Glass clinging

Itachi:

Indeed, it was

NARRATOR:

A deal was made, gold in return for land.

A few weeks past and the king of the South catches wind of this transaction

INT. OROCHIMARU’s quarters

Orochimaru:

How could they betray my trust like that!

How could they trade behind my back?
(shouts)

Sounds: Shattering glass and banging of tables

NARRATOR:

Each season the Three kingdoms come together for a hall meeting.

Sounds Talking background noise

They discuss the trades made and future plans for the villages. They’re midway through
conversation when Orochimaru interrupts and says

INT. TOWN HALL SOUTH

Orochimaru:

I know about your secret trade of gold and land

Sound Silence
Itachi:

We didn’t mea…

Orochimaru (cutting in)

Sound Bang of table

 I demand some gold as an apology

Sasuke:

Agreed I will supply that

NARRATOR:

Orochimaru thinks to himself of his power position and wants a bit more, more valuables.

Orochimaru:

I want sapphire!
Sasuke:

Agreed
Orochimaru:

Rubies!

Sasuke:

Agreed
We beg for your forgiveness Orochimaru, this will not be repeated, have we sorted out this
issue?

Orochimaru:

Yes, I have forgiven you two, may this never happen again

NARRATOR:

Sounds people standing up

Sounds Wooden chair screech
The meeting ends with all sides on the same page.
Orochimaru returns to his quarters and grins, he felt good, he felt great.

Sound gradually rising suspenseful music

INT. OROCHIMARU QUARTERS
Orochimaru:

What is this feeling!

NARRATOR:

He thought, wanting more, needing more, seeking more

 He thought of ways to obtain power.

Orochimaru (whispered to himself):

Chiyo

NARRATOR:

Sounds owl squawking

Sounds winds

Night falls and Orochimaru calls for the best fighters to meet him by the tree at sunrise
tomorrow. He will claim Chiyo for himself. Tomorrow is the day he will conquer the three
kingdoms.

INT.OROCHIMARU’S QUARTERS
Sounds ruffling noises and footsteps

Morning comes and the sun waits to rise, Orochimaru gets ready for his takeover. Sword
ready

Sounds Sword out the sheaf

Orochimaru leaves his quarters to the stables.

EXT.STABLES
He climbs onto his horse
Sounds horse sneeze

and sets out to meet his army by the tree

Sounds horse galloping

The sun was beginning its ascent, Orochimaru saw the tree in the distance, the tree of Chiyo
stood there magnificently.

EXT.TREE OF CHIYO
Sounds fades

He arrives at the tree, silence, a feather drop would break the silence
Orochimaru:

WHERE IS EVERYONE!

Sounds ruffling leaves

WHOSE THERE!

NARRATOR:

Orochimaru surveys his surroundings.

He hears footsteps

Sounds Footsteps on loops

Body’s start to arise from the long blades of grass.

Soldiers from every angle came forward. There were thousands.

Sounds Shuffling and armour clinging

Orochimaru began to grin.

Orochimaru:

IT’S TIME!

NARRATOR:

The soldiers became more visible, Orochimaru’s grin deuterated.

Orochimaru:

SASUKE!!

What have you done!

Itachi:

Greed is a forceful trait, an ugly trait in those of the beholder. It can take over one’s mind and
soul. We heard about your plans to take over. Chiyo was an agreement. The devil has taken
over you.

NARRATOR:
 The soldiers walk closer and closer to Orochimaru

Orochimaru:

What are you going to do with me?

Itachi:

Why kill you of course

Sasuke:

No. This is a sacred spot, there will be no killing here.

Itachi:

But he deserves to be punished

Sasuke:

His village has abandoned him, that’s a big enough punishment in itself. He will be banned
from the three kingdoms and all its surrounding areas.
