Slide # Explanation/s
2 -Friedrich Wilhelm August Froebel
-Born on April 21, 1782
-Died on June 21 1852 at the age of 70
-His notable act is the invention of kindergarten.
-As of today we can still notice the principles that he originates.
3 -The clear line between play and games is that game has rules.
-There’s a competition between 2 or more parties.
-Skill and capabilities can be horn here.
4 -On the contrary, there’s no rule in play.
- Imagination is the primary need.
-The play is what reflects the child's capabilities and interests.
-Needless to say in a satisfying way, I know y’all know because we came to that phase of
life.
5 -We could only reminisce about the time when we are just a kid.
-We don’t know the significance of money in our lives.
-We don’t mind inflation or whatsoever
-Golden days indeed!
6 -All we have in mind is to think about which play or activities we should do.
-Aiding our personal needs not wants, because that was what adults do, standing on their
own feet.
7 -Adults or us apparently have to deal with a lot of things.
-Being a breadwinner
-Or parents maybe
8 -Given that children are new to things from everything around him or them. Hence, they
are trying to figure out “what’s going on?”
-They are trying everything to feed their curiosity in order to grow.
9 -Kindergarten originated in Germany because Froebel is a German.
-Here in our country, kindergarten is the children that are 5 to 6 years old.
10 -If you have noticed sa mga pamangkin nyu, kapatid na bunso or sa kahit sino na mga bata
marami silang tanong.
-Lahat halos nisusubukan, that particular phase is called “age of wonder”.
11 -Play is the free expression of what is in a child’s soul.
-What she/he plays can define who she/he is.
12 -As future teachers, we should be open to suggestions.
-Because every child or our future student has different capabilities. That demands a
different way of imparting knowledge or skill
13 -About the suggestions, the teacher should take to consider two question the first one is…
-Analyze nating mabuti kung gusto nya ba talaga yun or there’s something or someone
that is pushing him/her to like it.

14 -The second question is…

-Do you think that the child has everything that it takes for him to wield certain skills?
-Do an evaluation of the child's strengths and weaknesses to find out which field should
you focus on most and least.

15 At the end of the assessment or evaluation, you as expected to come up with an approach
that is suited to children's passions.
16 -Froebel wrote this himself for children, which contains songs and suggested activities for
children.
-The said activities are inspired by mother’s play, they said mothers know best.
Personally, this is the part I like about his principle.
17 -Do you believe that playing could cultivate growth not literally but holistically,
particularly intellectual growth?
-It is what he has also Froebel been saying in his educational principle.
18 -So much can be learned indeed by application of demonstration rather than just reading
through an educational or informative textbook.
-Kasi what is the point of what you knew if you couldn’t apply it? Right?
19 -It is what it is ika nga diba, his educational principle has no other hidden agenda.
-He invented kindergarten for it is he thinks best for children for them to get the most out
of their gifts and capabilities.
20 -What is good about his principles is that it is open for modification not entirely but only
for the betterment.
-He said this because he knew that his approach might be ineffective after decades past,
and that is why he expected that we will create a study with regard to his theory and
principle.
