ORDER
The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to order the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC)
Information Bulletin, 2017-18 annexed to this Government Order for admission of candidates to the first year of
under graduate professional degree courses such as M.B.B.S., B.D.S., (based on the NEET score), B.A.M.S., B.V.Sc.
and A.H., B.Sc. (Nursing), B.P.T., B.Sc. (M.L.T.), B.Tech., B.Pharm., B.A., L.L.B., L.L.B., B.Sc. (Agriculture) and B.Sc.
(Horticulture) courses (based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination) offered by the
Government/Government sponsored Society Colleges, fully funded by the Government of Puducherry. Seats to the
above mentioned courses are also available under Government quota seats to the extent of not more than 50% of
the sanctioned intake in other unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions within the Union territory of
Puducherry. Besides admissions are also carried out by the CENTAC in respect of Government of India nomination
seats sponsored by Ministry of Human Resources Development, New Delhi, to the above mentioned courses in the
Government institutions all over India.
2. The CENTAC shall have the freedom to take functional and operational decisions for the admission of
candidates to various aforesaid professional courses, within the overall framework of the G.O. Ms. No. 04,
dated 14-02-2017 of Chief Secretariat (Higher and Technical Education), Puducherry and as modified from time to time.
