Job Summary (Overall) - Department Manager

 Support the Store Manager for smooth functioning & performance of the store overall.

 Brief & de-brief periodically with the store team.

 Review manpower requirement to ensure smooth functioning of store.

 Ensure the team is highly motivated & engaged.

 Responsible for training and grooming of store staff.

 Oversee preventive maintenance activities & effectively handle escalation of issues with
relevant teams.

 Supervise store work flow from physical inventory to cash point, identify and suggest
effective measures to arrest pilferage.

 Ensure customer satisfaction in terms of adherence to D-Mart deliverables.

 Facilitate smooth circulation of footfalls on the shop floor and ensure quick check out
during peak hours.

Details of the position are as follows- 

Job profile-        Management Trainees for the role of Department Manager (Store


Operations) (Position will be pan India post their training)
Compensation-  INR 3.50 Lakhs p.a (in hand approx 21-23k per month)
Open to-           Final Yr Post Graduate Management students with one or only specialization
in Marketing/ Operations/Retail Management streams (2022-2023 batch)
Age-                 upto 24 years
